The best aspects are that the teachers are helpful and experienced and so it helps with learning, however there could be more help with exam resources such as more practice questions for the exam to get the most support

Students receive a lot of support from the lecturers and other faculty members. Additionally there are different departments specialising in offering students support and guidance. There are many events organised to help students socialise and relax or be part of the activities that boost their CV and skills. If I had the chance to start my programme again, I will definitely do it as I feel sad it’s nearly the end of my uni life and I will be missing it a lot.

The lectures in my course are very helpful and always get back to you when you have questions. We have good weeks timetabling where we have online lessons and in person and we start at a nice time as well which gives people time to travel. Our lectures give us PowerPoints which we can also look at when at home for more revision. The university is big and is a couple bus stops from train stations which is helpful as well. There is lots of places to get food and they have a wide variety of things.

I love the well integrated teaching modules aligning with the current employability trend and measures in the organisational world. However. the faculty members can be improved with lecturers on the same array of discipline

Best aspects would definitely be the people and the location. By the beach but with safe and lively night life, which in my opinion is important for most undergrad students, also the welsh are lovely and friendly. It depends on the area but overall the city feels extremely safe which was important for me. Some of the buildings on the old campus (singleton) look a bit run-down especially when the sun isn't out so it might be worth them revamping some buildings to make certain parts look less depressing. But again thats only a few, and the walk to campus is lovely especially as theres a massive park/green space right next to campus, with a 2 minute detour taking you right to the beach. Can't say too much on the students' union because it looks good but i havent really engaged with it. They always have some sort of event going on but honestly i havent been to many, so maybe the events could be more engaging so more people including myself would go.

The best parts of my university experience have been the modern facilities, supportive staff, and great location. The campus looks welcoming, and the student union offers plenty of societies and events, which makes it easy to get involved. However, it could be improved by offering more affordable food options on campus and extending library opening hours during exam periods.

My experience at University of Brighton confidently prepared me for the future and allowed me to discover the best version of myself. Living in such a creative and vibrant city made every day feel like an adventure, and studying in Brighton offered the perfect balance between academic growth and an exciting student lifestyle. As an international student, feeling a sense of belonging was essential, and Brighton exceeded my expectations. From the very first day, the university’s welcoming and inclusive community made me feel at home. The international orientation programme was especially valuable, helping me form some of my closest friendships and making the transition to university life in the UK far less stressful than I had anticipated. The level of student support available throughout my degree was exceptional. Whether navigating academic challenges or personal concerns and exploring future opportunities , I always felt guided rather than overwhelmed. My student support guidance tutor and academic tutor were consistently available, offering help with assignments and regularly checking in on my wellbeing to ensure I was having a positive student experience. This personalised approach helped me stay motivated, confident, and supported at every stage of my studies. Career development was embedded into my student experience from the very beginning. The careers and employability team supported me in creating my first CV in my first year, securing part-time work in the city, and gaining clarity about my long-term goals. Even after graduating, their continued guidance has helped me align my interests with meaningful career opportunities, demonstrating the university’s genuine investment in its students’ futures. Beyond academics, student societies were central to my experience at Brighton. Through joining different societies, I was able to explore my interests outside the classroom, build friendships across disciplines, and feel part of a wider, supportive student community. The connections I formed and the memories created through shared activities became some of the most meaningful and rewarding parts of my university experience. Having access to three distinct campuses across the city further enriched my experience. The City Campus offered a creative and cosmopolitan environment, surrounded by Brighton’s thriving arts and social scene. Moulsecoomb Campus provided a more urban and academic atmosphere, conveniently positioned between the city centre and Falmer. Falmer Campus felt like a traditional campus university, with expansive green spaces, a strong sense of community, excellent facilities, and the Amex Stadium nearby, creating a unique blend of campus life and local pride. Across all campuses, the facilities are well maintained and thoughtfully designed, with excellent access to libraries, study spaces, and up-to-date equipment that support both academic success and student wellbeing. Reflecting on my overall experience, the University of Brighton offered far more than a degree. It provided a supportive environment in which I could grow academically, professionally, and personally, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to students seeking a university that truly invests in their development.

The campus is absolutely gorgeous! A wonderful mix of old and new, castles and modern buildings. Reserving rooms encourages students to get out of their rooms and study anywhere on campus, from the top of the castle tower, to the communal "pods" at Commons. The Student Union building has a bar and a small shop, and activities going on almost every day. Karaoke every other Saturday is one of my favourites. Close enough to the city of Bath for easy access, while still having the feeling of a university town. Lots of student discounts and student bars/clubs in town, as the University of Bath is also nearby. Interesting classes, lovely lecturers and guest lecturers, and proper assessments. Few, if not none, tests, allowing for those who do not thrive with simple memorization to show off how they learn. The diversity of students encourages the broadening of your own world view. A wide range of courses, allowing for study into incredibly specific topics. The main issue with the university is the wait time for wellbeing appointments, as it can take up to four months to even get a foot in the door. This means that if you do need help, it is very difficult to achieve. Also, while it isn't the university's fault, it is important to know that the First Bus system is not very reliable, so if you have a job in town, it is quite nerve-wracking.

What makes my uni a great place to study is their student support. They try to help their students in any way possible to ensure that students get the best out of their education. I think it would be better if the university put more effort into societies and clubs such as sporting clubs and teams . It would help the university to have more of a community and really showcase other talents other than what students already study on their courses. My university do have societies and some sporting teams, however some of the societies don’t run anymore and it’s not made to be as big as it was when I first heard about it before I joined uni. I think it’s important to have that feel of community and university culture and to also show the inclusiveness of different cultures, groups and activities in which people associate them selves with.
