Teesside University has a broad portfolio of courses specialising in science, technology and engineering, as well as creativity, enterprise and digital innovation.
The university offers study at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, full and part-time, with a choice of on-campus or distance learning experiences. Many degree courses have an optional foundation year, and students can also elect to study apprenticeships or short courses.

As such, admission criteria vary on a course-by-course basis, and prospective students are recommended to visit the university website to find out full details for their chosen course. The university gives equal consideration to all academic and vocational qualifications as well as work experience or vocational training.
The standard requirement to enrol on an undergraduate degree at Teesside University is normally a pass in at least two A-Levels, or an equivalent qualification. However, applicants who don’t quite meet the minimum requirements may still be eligible.

Teesside University Students’ Union (TUSU) is a big part of student life at Teesside – it’s a hive of activity, events and fun.
