The entry requirements vary depending on the student’s chosen qualification and their specific study programme. As a guideline, undergraduate degrees will usually require a UCAS tariff score of at least 96 points, which is equivalent to three A levels grade CCC, although some programmes may require a higher tariff score.
Foundation degrees, which act as a pathway to an undergraduate degree, typically require a UCAS tariff score of at least 32, but this can vary.
A range of qualifications are accepted, including BTEC extended diplomas and certificates, Access to Higher Education diplomas, and Scottish Higher Qualifications.
For mature students who wish to return to education following time in the work force, some courses may also accept work experience as partial credit during an application. Students are always advised to contact the university’s admissions team if they have any questions about their eligibility.

Tuition fees for study at the University of Bedfordshire vary, depending on whether students are learning full- or part-time, and their nationality.
UK students can expect to pay £9,250 per year for tuition fees for the 2024/25 academic year if studying full-time. Fees are set to rise to £9,535 per year for 2025/26 following the latest government announcement in November 2024.
