These are our terms and conditions for use of the website at ("Whatuni Site") and the Whatuni mobile application ("Whatuni App") (and collectively with the Whatuni Site and Whatuni App, the "Whatuni Services"), which you may access in several ways, including but not limited to the World Wide Web via and mobile phone. In these terms and conditions, when we say the "Whatuni Services" we mean the digital and physical services offered by Whatuni regardless of how you access the services. However you access Whatuni Services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Whatuni Services are operated by Hotcourses Limited (registered number 02471319) which has its registered office at First Floor, Bedford House, Fulham Green, 69-79 Fulham High Street, London SW6 3JW. We can be contacted by e-mail or by mail to the address set out above.

These terms of use and our Privacy Policy as amended by us from time to time ("terms") govern your use of our website, ("Whatuni Site") and/or the Whatuni mobile application ("Whatuni App") and when leaving a review of a course ("Course Reviews") that we make available on or through our website and app. By using our Whatuni Services, you are agreeing to these terms, whether you are just browsing (a "Visitor") or whether you are a registered user (a "Member"). Please stop using our Whatuni Services if you do not agree to these terms. We may revise these terms at any time at our sole discretion. If we do, we will notify you on our home page. Please also check back regularly for updates: you can easily determine whether changes have been made by confirming the version date at the top of these terms. Your continued use of our Whatuni Services means that you agree to these terms, as revised.

1. Registration/Password

1.1 Although portions of our website may be visited by any Visitor, you will need to register as a Member to be able to access the Whatuni App and if you wish to submit Course Reviews. Registration on our website and app is free.

1.2 We recommend that you should be 16 or over to register as a Member. However, you may register if you are at least 13 years of age and you comply with section 3 below. Anyone under 13 years of age should not register with us.

1.3 You agree that any information you provide to us about yourself upon registration or at any other time will be true, accurate, up to date and complete. We reserve the right to terminate your membership and access to our Services if we learn that you have provided false or misleading information.

1.4 When you register to use our Services, you will be asked to create a username and password. You agree not to divulge your password to any other person. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, and will be fully responsible for all liabilities arising in connection with your password's use (or misuse), whether such use or misuse is with or without your knowledge or approval. If you suspect that someone else knows of or is using your password, you must notify us immediately by emailing us.

1.5 If you forget your password, click here and we will send you an email where you can reset it.

1.6 We have the absolute discretion to cancel your username/password at any time if we suspect it is being used by an unauthorised person.

2. Your use of our Whatuni Services

2.1 For the purposes of these terms, "Content" refers to all data, text, logos, artwork, software, documents, images, photographs and other materials you may upload to or download from our website including information about yourself, Course Reviews, information about certain courses.

2.5 If you are a Visitor, you agree not to obtain unauthorised access to areas of our website reserved for Members.

3. Under 16 years of age

3.1 Anyone under 13 years of age should not register with us.

3.2 If you are under 16 years of age and want to become a Member, you must obtain a parent or guardian's permission before registering on our website. You may also discuss these terms with them before obtaining their permission.

3.3 If you are a Member under 16 years old, you will need to obtain a parent or guardian's permission before taking part in any online discussions. You should never reveal personal information about yourself, such as your address, telephone number and school.

4. Content posted

4.1 We have a software tool which monitors Content on our website. While we hope that it removes the majority of inappropriate content, it is not 100% reliable - no software tool is. None of the views expressed in the Content are the views of Hotcourses Ltd. - we are just providing a platform. You acknowledge that all Content is the responsibility of the person who posted, emailed or otherwise provided the Content to our website. You acknowledge that by using the Service, you may be exposed to Content that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. We are not responsible in any way for any Content - and if you post, email, upload or otherwise provide Content, you are entirely responsible for it.

4.2 However, we operate a "take down and notice" procedure. If you believe that any Content is defamatory, profane, sexually or racially offensive or discriminating, harassing, threatening, obscene, pornographic, false, unreliable or misleading or otherwise objectionable, or infringes intellectual property or other legal rights please notify us immediately by contacting our webmaster. We will investigate each matter notified to us and will act in our sole discretion.

4.3 If you post Content which is found to be in breach of these terms, we reserve the right to deactivate your username and password to prevent you from further access to our website as a Member.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 You agree that our Whatuni Site and Whatuni App and all Content contained in it are protected by Intellectual Property Rights that either belong to or are licensed to us.

5.2 You acquire no proprietary interest in our Services or Content provided by us or others and may not use them in any way except as expressly permitted by these terms.

5.3 You may view, print, download or temporarily store such Content for your personal, non-commercial reference without alteration, addition or deletion. You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or otherwise transfer such Content. You acknowledge that you will not acquire any Intellectual Property Rights by downloading or otherwise using any such Content.

6.1 We have the right in our absolute discretion to alter, edit, remove, suspend or refuse any Content without notice, if we consider that the Content is objectionable or violates these terms or for any other reason.

7.1 Our Whatuni Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We expressly disclaim all warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7.2 You understand and agree that we do not guarantee the accuracy, relevancy or completeness of any information in or provided on or from our Services. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results obtained from the use of such information. Our Services are provided for the general information of the general public.

7.3 Your use and participation in our website and services are solely at your own risk. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained by you from our website shall create any warranty not expressly made in these terms or imposed by law.

7.4 We make no warranty that our Services will meet your requirements, or that access to our Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; nor do we make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of our Services.

Please do not access or use the Content from a jurisdiction where such access or use would be contrary to applicable laws, rules or regulations of any governmental authority or regulatory organisation. If you breach this provision, you will be held entirely responsible.

10. Assignment

We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms and upon such assignment we shall be relieved of any further obligation under these terms. You are not permitted to assign your rights and obligations under these terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any dispute shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

12. Whatuni Destinations use

Use of the Destinations resources is within the terms of these conditions and the Whatuni Privacy Notice. You must create a login to access the resources. Your email address will not be used for any other purpose, unless you opt in to receive emails from us or our partner, All Together. Once logged in, you may download Whatuni and All Together classroom resources for use in schools. Any resources downloaded from our website are subject to copyright and must not be sold or hosted on any other website unless approved in writing by Hotcourses Ltd. Whatuni resources are the intellectual property of Hotcourses Ltd, and All Together resources are the intellectual property of All Together.

13. Open Day Disclaimer

Please be aware that you may need to book in advance to attend an open day and that some open days have a maximum number of places. Please check the University website or contact them directly by email to confirm availability or to make a booking. Open day information was correct according to their website at the time of data collection.

14. Review submission prize draw

14.1 Entrants must be current university students or recent graduates (graduating within the past year) and aged 18 or over at the time of entry.

14.2 Entrants may enter only once by writing a university review and must provide an email address on the review form to be considered.

14.3 The prize is a 200 supermarket travel voucher. In order to receive their prize, the winner is required to provide Whatuni with their full name and UK address.

14.4 Reviews that are obscene, vulgar, pornographic, hateful, threatening, discriminatory or which otherwise violate any local or international laws will not be considered in the prize draw.

14.5 You must be the copyright owner of the review submitted.

14.6 The Closing date for entries is 28th February 2019.

14.7 Winner to be chosen at Whatuni's discretion from a random draw.

14.8 The winner will be notified on 14th March 2019.

14.9 If the winner does not respond after reasonable efforts to contact them have been made, we reserve the right to withdraw their entry and select another winner.

During this period, can be used to search for institutions that have courses available in Clearing & Adjustment. Year-round, UCAS supply us with undergraduate data for the majority of higher education providers, as well as some institutions providing it themselves. In preparation for Clearing & Adjustment, IDP Connect and the institutions themselves remove 2018-entry courses not available. Courses are continually updated throughout this period by ourselves and institutions; IDP Connect is not responsible for ensuring that courses showing on the site are still available for application via Clearing or Adjustment. We only display courses run by our partner institutions on the clearing & adjustment list.

16. Student survey submission prize draw

16.1 Entrants must be aged 16 or over at the time of entry.

16.2 Entrants may enter only once by filling out the survey and must provide an email address on the survey form to be considered.

16.3 There a twenty opportunities to win a 20 Amazon voucher. In order to receive their prize, the winner is required to provide Whatuni with their full name and email address.

16.4 Surveys that are incomplete will not be considered in the prize draw.

16.5 The Closing date for entries is 1st December 2018.

16.6 Winners to be chosen at Whatuni's discretion from a random draw.

16.7 The winners will be notified on 15th December 2018.

16.8 If the winner(s) does not respond after reasonable efforts to contact them have been made, we reserve the right to withdraw their entry and select another winner.

17. Terms and conditions for Whatuni Christmas Giveaway

17.1 Entrants will be entered only after they have followed and commented on the giveaway post.

17.2 The four prizes on offer are vouchers for Netflix, H&M, Paperchase and Starbucks.

17.3 Entries that do not follow instructions of the giveaway will not be considered in the giveaway draw.

17.4 Closing date for entries is Friday 4th January, 2019.

17.5 Winners to be chosen at Whatuni's discretion from a random draw and notified on Monday 7th January, 2019.

17.6 Winners will be given a two-week deadline ending 21st January 2019 to respond to the team and claim their prize.

17.7 Individuals unable to respond will lose the prize, and another contestant will be selected.

17.8 Data collection will fall in line with Instagram's guidelines.
