A nice and quiet environment conducive to focusing on academic goals, with a range of supportive structures. It could do with stronger communication across multiple platforms and better marketing of the very helpful opportunities available at the different facilities.

I am currently studying MSc Data Science at London South Bank University, and my experience has been really positive. The professors are excellent, very knowledgeable, and always ready to help students whenever needed. The university is truly student friendly and understands the challenges we face. They always try their best to provide the right support and guidance. The placement opportunities here are also excellent, with a strong focus on helping students build their careers. Best part of the uni is it's facilities like the David Wilson Library and sports centers, student union , career hub etc. Accommodation is decent, with options in the city and The Village, though the latter is farther from campus. On the downside, some buildings feel outdated, Wi-Fi can be patchy, and travel from The Village to campus can be inconvenient. Overall, it’s supportive with room for improvement.

Can’t believe I’m already in my final year of Biomedical Sciences at UEL . Feels like yesterday I was sitting by the riverside at Docklands during my foundation year, watching planes take off from City Airport, it was my little peaceful escape. This course has been such a blessing – from incredible labs and supportive lecturers to the Career Zone and Mental Wealth modules that gave me so much confidence . Being a Student Ambassador made my uni journey extra special (hello public speaking skills ), and the Indian Society always brought the most colourful vibes.. And the location? Perfect. Canary Wharf, the O2, Westfield Stratford – all just a quick ride away. Honestly, UEL has been a mix of learning, growing, and making unforgettable memories .

Chichester is a safe city/town. It’s got a really nice atmosphere to it but not the best night life. The university could do with more communication between courses, especially those in joint routes.

Southampton Solent University is an overall great place for students to study, offering excellent facilities, supportive staff, and a diverse learning environment. The university provides a practical approach to education, ensuring students gain real-world experience alongside their academic studies. However, student life could be enhanced by offering more social events, parties, and get-togethers. These activities would help students connect, build friendships, and create a stronger sense of community on campus. With a livelier student social scene, Solent University would become an even more enjoyable and well-rounded place to study.

Campus is close to such beautiful places and countryside towns such as matlock so there are plenty of opportunities to get outdoors and enjoy the countryside scenery. Campus is also located in the city centre so lots of things to do, places to shop and also clubbing! Plenty of societies and social opportunities provided so easy to make friends and meet new people. Only critique is student halls and accommodation could do with a refurb and update however private accommodations in derby are a good alternative.
