Good, high quality level of teaching. Lecturers have an abundance of experience in a range of roles in the wine industry. Lots of contacts of people in the trade. Student life on campus is quite detached from anything - if you don't have a car there is not a lot you can do.

Best Aspects of Studying at the University of Chester: Beautiful Campus and it is friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Staff and students alike are approachable, creating a welcoming environment for learning and personal growth. As for the worst aspects, the acoomodation cost is high.

The lecturers are really approachable and want you to succeed. It feels really inclusive and diversity is appreciated. Being so close to Manchester there's lots going on and good transport links. The only real criticism I have is the use of online lectures, how ever much they try, they aren't as condusive to learning as in person lectures are especially if you have difficulties with concentration. I understand that universities are trying to find ways to cut costs but I feel that this detracts from the whole student experience both academically and socially.

One of the things I love about my University is the accessibility of different resources and how you can get everything you need within a 10 to 20-minute walk. While it does rain quite often, I also love the climate and the landscape especially in my accommodation, which overlooks a cute little golf course. One of the things I am not very fond of, personally is the fact that the weather can make me feel low and depressed easily which has been a common occurrence, but that too is not so much a University thing as it is personal and geographical. To be frank, I do not have much to complain, if at all, about my time here in Bangor University.

Lovely countryside quiet environment. Each subject has its own part on campus which makes it easy to find. Bus fares could be improved as I am a university student living at home and it costs me £30 a week to commute as I also need to catch a public bus.

I'm currently studying BSc animal behaviour and welfare at Myerscough, the campus is lovely and the lecturers are all really understanding and helpful. The only downfalls are that the location isn't close to the town centre so it can be difficult to get to shops if you don't drive (there are buses though).

The location is lovely despite it being quite out the way and a bit difficult to get to sometimes. All the staff have been great and really friendly, always helpful. The nightlife is great too with a huge variety of pubs and places to go.

A degree in animal behaviour studies is a scientific study of how animals behave, both alone and when interacting with each other. You’ll learn about why animals behave in the ways they do by studying them in their natural habitats and in wildlife conservation environments. Topics you’re likely to cover during the degree include animal development and evolution, taxonomy (naming and classifying animals), habitats, morphology and physiology. You’re likely to learn animal theory in classroom settings, as well as gain practical experience in the field and in labs. Some courses also include placement opportunities, both in the UK and abroad. You’ll be able to develop scientific skills that are specific to animal behaviour studies, as well as transferable skills, such as data analysis, group work and presenting.
