VERY HELPFUL TUTORS WHO PUT A LOT OF EFFORT INTO SUPPORTING STUDIES. Interesting and world leading programme with a mix of practical and theory. Support as I am a long distance learner - living 200 miles away but still able to do online work and odd weeks on site. As a distance learner, sometime the online work is frustrating when a link won't work but mostly staff sort this out quickly .

Excellent first term with two modules on campus scheduled around working hours to allow part time students to attend. Wonderful lecturers with a wealth of academic and industry experience. Really interesting course with fascinating modules tailored to this relatively new discipline.

I am a part time student and post grad and therefore do not have experience of 'life at hartpury' from my experience the majority of my course has been well organised. improvement could be made in making exam dates more readily accessible earlier for students that are working full time alongside studying

Bioveterinary Science BSc (Hons)

University rating (5)

The facilities are amazing and the faculty are brilliant when it comes to teaching and supporting all students. The campus is easy to get to as long as you are going the main road way otherwise the lanes can be busy and sometimes dangerous. Everyone is friendly and welcoming especially on your first day. I do think that we need trips added into the learning especially for those who are hands on learners and so that all students get a sense of what it’s realistically like once we graduate and go into our different fields of work. Some timetables could do with improvement especially when trying to work at the same time as study, some students have one lecture a day a different times which clashes with work. Unfortunately, working is essential when studying due to the cost of everything which then causes students to miss lectures

At Hartpury everyone is friendly and I haven’t met anyone that has made me feel uncomfortable. I wish we had double beds.
