My worst experience would be during Covid as we all felt isolated from university however my best would be the support we get going into exams from the lecturers.
Worst would be during covid when it was all online and so were our exams so we were almost self teaching however since we have had amazing practicals and really get the support and 1:1 attention if we need it.

It’s a very friendly and welcoming environment, that makes you feel welcomed and not outcasted. They’re is many ways you can contact staff and they reply in a good amount of time. There’s lots of extra activities that you can get involved in and even start your own society. They offer support for when you need it. It’s a great place to study as you can get experience you need there and a lot of books that will aid in that and staff are willing to help. It could be improved by having a few more clearer assignment briefs as a few of them were not payed out in a way that was easy to understand.
It’s easy to contact any members of staff that are needed, there’s onsite placements that we can do and even volunteer at. We can also go to the student advisors and ask for different placements if we want. There’s enough hours to do things and even when lessons are online it’s very easy to engage and stay focused. Only problem is the online lesson that we had at 8:30 that was hard to stay awake.

Amazing university The campus facility and location is amazing There is a balance between country life and city life Would recommend Hartpury to anyone My course canine training and performance aswell is amazing we learn in depth about lots of animals not just dogs so we can apply different training techniques and learn about them
Amazing course There is a balance between learning about just dogs and also other animals so we can understand different training techniques Different practicals aswell And opportunities to get involved
Gloucester is a good city Lots of stuff to do However transport from Hartpury can be difficult unless you drive as buses do not run that often and it’s about 15 minuets away from the city centre Lots of opportunities for student housing aswell

Hartpury university has always been the dream, so to get here and be studying what I’m passionate about with other students and lectures that feel the same is amazing. The facilities are just what I always expected if not better. It makes me so happy that everything I've worked so hard for is coming true and the place i’ve always wanted to be exceeds my already high expectations
Lessons are delivered in person, which after COVID has been so beneficial, I feel like Im actually learning. We have good access to our lecturers, I feel tutor sessions really help this relationship. I do feel as though more 1 to 1 sessions should be offered through out the term to talk about progress, placement and how we’re coping with the course.
Gloucester is a lovely town with brilliant history and it’s own little culture, sadly it can be a little unsafe at times but police are everywhere. At night going to the club the bouncers are all friendly and approachable as well as amazing at their jobs
Limbury is ideal for halls onsite, I can literally roll out of bed and into my lectures. It’s close to the student bar and the student cafe. The internet can be slow, I often get disconnected but being in the middle of nowhere this is understandable. The maintenance team is brilliant, if anything breaks they’re quick to fix it.

It’s in a wonderful location with amazing facilities. Tutors are very knowledgeable and willing to help.
I absolutely love my course, the lectures are able to answer any questions and make me feel confident in my studies.

Hartpury Uni is one of the best choices I have ever made, the independence, the responsibilities where you can learn how to live as an adult while learning at the top level of education
The course is split up very effectively with the mix of practical, lecture and independent learning
Very good blocks for living accommodation and design is smart for living

Hartpury is located in a beautiful rural location, there is a lot to see and a lot to explore around campus and Gloucester city. The university is easily located with a range of courses and animals on site, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, since starting I have left so comfortable especially after being anxious about how I would cope away from home. Gloucester for me is a brand new place but I feel sick at home with Hartpury! I am in my third year of my degree and I have had the best time studying here, the veterinary nursing team and university as a whole are very supportive to all students and everyone is treated fairly. You will have such a great experience studying here and the views that surround the university never fail to please me. I wouldn’t say there are any worst aspect of my experience however it is difficult to study but that is part of an honours degree.
The veterinary nursing course here at Hartpury is so much fun, there is hard work and a heavy work load but it is very much worth it. The placement year has been an experience, the only problem is it is a year placement and takes a lot to get used to but it is the most rewarding course to be on and I am super excited for the opportunities the university have given me. Course hours are very good and contact with lectures is non stop
I enjoyed meeting new people within halls for my first year on uni. It’s a good idea to be in halls for your first year especially if you’re new to university because it allows you to make friends and before everyone started the university set up a group chat with everyone starting university the same year (2019) which was lovely because you get to all chat and find out who else is with you in your block and then room numbers and you can make friends before you even more in which puts you at ease

The lecturers have been very supportive during my time here. It's a course and a place where you get out what you put in. If you're willing to work hard and engage then you will be given as much support as you could possibly need. It could be improved by not forcing change, allow students to behave like students. Senior management within the staff seem determined to treat students like children. Too many restrictions are put in place for no reason. For example, they have only very recently stopped enforcing face masks to be worn despite them not being a legal requirement for several months.
The lecturers have all been amazing and very supportive with my work. They lecturers are too kind and go out of their way for students who are too lazy to even turn up. The lecturers work themselves stupid over people who aren't willing to put in any work.
