I think Uni of Glos is such a good university, the course I have chosen is perfect, it covers every element of content and pedagogy that I could want it to. The lecturers are very helpful and engaging and make sure we are confident before beginning any assignments etc. The Uni as a whole provide you with access to lots of essential resources such as online library lists and the site moodle. I think the area is perfect for me, it has lots going on like great shopping, lots of restaurants, clubs and pubs and green spaces which creates a lovely balance. I feel really safe in Cheltenham and the university provide measures to ensure this is true (like running a night bus from the student accommodation to town centre every 30mins on 'night out' evenings).

I think the course is taught in a way that is manageable and practical. They approach it in a way of teaching us the key content in the national curriculum (both core and foundation subjects) but also we often act as the children experiencing and observing excellent pedagody. The other side of the course, which I enjoy the most, is the professional studies side. This includes modules teaching us what it takes to become a teacher and understanding individual learners.

I think the best part of the halls is the community feel, it feels really safe. The halls are clean and tidy and maintenance team are usually really quick at fixing big problems (not so much the smaller ones) for example our flat microwave stopped working and they replaced it immediately. I do think that the halls are too expensive for what they are. I have friends at other unis that pay much less and get more for their money.

I study at Cheltenham Park Campus. The Campus is beautiful, in the middle of a park in the historic town of Cheltenham, and everyone at the university has been so incredibly friendly. The lecturers are all really nice, and I've made some great friends. The course is well taught, although I think the assessments a really quite hard going for a first year course (guess my fault for studying computer science.) It's a great uni, I'm really happy!

It's a great course, well taught, informative and practical + theoretical. The assessments require a lot of work though, for example for the maths assessment, I have to write 6 Python programs in addition to a 2000 word report. But there's no exams, so that's something!
