Other than the business school, Oxstalls campus feels a bit tired. Parking at Oxstalls could be improved as it becomes full and difficult to find parking in surrounding roads. On campus food is quite nice, but expensive. Student nightlife in Gloucester is to be avoided (other than at the Quays), but Cheltenham is ok and feels safer.

Nursing simulation ward is great but doesn't get used as much as it should (only a handful of times a year). Course content is changing to a new curriculum so I cannot comment on this yet, however it sounds more engaging with a focus on nursing specialities. Balance between in-class learning and placement is also changing, but I enjoyed 1 day a week teaching on campus and the rest of the week on placement to catch up with course mates. Theory blocks are usually 3-4 days per week on campus. Most lecturers are responsive to emails etc.

The lecturers are keen to get you doing self directed study , but are always on hand if needed. The university has alot of skills labs and equipment available to nursing students and great links with local employers. There is plenty to see and do around Gloucester and plenty going on at the University campus.

Best - lots of opportunity to grow Worst - its a demanding corse with not alot of breaks and can be hard to maintain a social life aswell as study and work on placement and complete assignments.
