I think the university adult nursing support from the lectures and organisation is poor and need some improvement, however the help zone and support from university is very good.

The university needs to improve their support from the lectures.

I am a mature student who returned to education at 36 to complete a law degree, this was quite a daunting prospect being amongst young people mostly aged 18 - 21. I have had no problems whatsoever with settling in and greatly enjoying my studying at University of Gloucestershire, I am now in my final year and the support I have received since starting in 2012 has been exceptional. My tutors and the staff on the Law degree are of the highest calibre and helped and encouraged me every step of the way. My confidence has been greatly improved and I have achieved things I never thought possible. Overall University of Gloucestershire has been totally excellent :-).

The facilities are great and Cheltenham and Gloucester are vibrant and interesting places to fill in any gaps the University may have here. Great libraries and study areas, lots organised by the University.

This is where University of Gloucestershire shines. I have had so much support provided by both the helpzone and my course tutors and lecturers, the library also provides support and training if needed. University of Gloucestershire is absolutely excellent from this point of view, I cannot rate it highly enough for student support.

Not had too much contact with the Student Union but aware of all the hard work they put into making student life enjoyable and fun, always happy to help.

Both Gloucester and Cheltenham are vibrant and beautiful places to stay, both with great shopping, nightlife and history.

There are many clubs and societies to join.

Since studying on the Law degree I have had nothing but praise for my lecturers and all staff, they have helped and supported me through tough times and encouraged me all the way to achieve my goal. Brilliant!

I now feel confident to search for a job within my chosen field of Law, there is a huge amount of help with job searching, applications and interview help available at University of Gloucestershire. It makes me feel great knowing there is support and help available if needed.

I live in my own home, but visited my friends in student accommodation in the first year, the rooms are clean, new and warm, with en-suite showers and great kitchens.
