Best aspects is that its a small university and so classes are more intimate and you get to know your lecturer better. Worst aspects is the student life, its not as big as some other universities for example the SU events are mostly unintersting and not what students want

When visiting university I find it a very pleasant experience. The facilities are great, I mainly study in the new business building on oxstalls campus which is very modern and has everything a student could need. I am yet to us student union, however they seem to always have events running.

I think the best aspects is the facilities on offer such as the SU and the canteen and rooms to study in and library rooms. The community is tight knitted and nice. It can be improved with parking and making it part of the fees for tuition

The university is very helpful in all aspects of support (mental health support, learning support, disability support and more) and the teachers are approachable and understanding The campuses are all unique and most of them have a modern feel The accommodation is good quality, very homely and is a great way to make new friends if you're living away from home and struggle with socialising :) It would be better if there was more of a range of societies on Oxstalls Campus (Gloucester) as the ones they have here at Oxstalls are highly biased towards sports, and there are very few societies on the Gloucester campuses compared to the Cheltenham campuses

All trips and fun events and small cohorts are the best. Worst would be as small cohorts, I don’t get the university feel. I feel as if it’s a college

It was a fantastic location with new Business School and improved facilities at their Oxstalls campus. The lecturers are serious experts in specific modules I did for in Accounting and Finance. Are really interesting, challenging and enjoyable to do despite some difficulties. One of few universities to get exemptions Even new professional courses and certificates such as Microsoft certificate, Code Creators (Python) etc. which adds values to my CV, skills and experience. They have a Your Future Plan hub which is great to find internships, placements, graduate roles along with sessions on how to do interviews, CV, cover letters and more. They have a Growth Hub and a student business consultancy where the university are partnered with local companies to give students on hands approach experience whilst at the university. Very impressive they have sports/societies people can join with good social events throughout the year whether formal or informal. But its hard as they come and go all the time due to students busy with their university work or just personal aspects. Really great with day trips such as London or Cardiff even international trips like Vietnam for example years ago. What is difficult is that university lecturers are really hard to get back via email or in person despite an open door policy. To improve, I wish that lecturers could do more to get back to their students with significant problems they have for coursework, exams or general enquiries they have.
