The best is the period supplements and there’s so many coffees shops around the school. However, I gonna say that somehow finding books in library could be a challenge since some labels are not that clear

best part would be the sense of community, from easily making friendships to the lecturers being welcoming and happy to help. worst aspects are few, but i would say the prices of the shop, cafe and bar on campus are quite high, especially for students. it makes me less likely to buy from them.

I am an international student on distance mode, therefore I do not get the opportunity to use the physical infrastructures of the university. This is the reason why I could not rate higher for some areas. However, although online, I am well supported by the virtual learning platform and my research supervisors.

Best aspect is probably meeting new people and living on my own, my life feels a lot more simpler and organised. Worst aspect is that uni can also be stressful, I also have problems with location of stores I wish we had a large store nearby like a Sainsbury's or Tesco's.

It’s nice that it is away from the city and not too far to get to town centre with many buses going there and back. The campus is very beautiful no matter what time of year it is. End up missing out on events due to not having seen them as they sometimes get posted once or get overcrowded with other posts

Why do you let school kids into the UNIVERSITY library ? There is a public library 5 mins away, they don’t understand any library etiquette, I’m trying to revise for my fourth year medicine exams and they are chatting on level 5?! And let’s not even get started on level 4 which is meant to be a silent level, sounds like a socialising cafe during exam season. If you’re going to let them in , at least enforce the rules of silent study or say they can only go on one floor. They’re not paying 10K a year so how come they can use the library facilities and disrupt the people who do pay?

As an international Environmental Management student, my time at Plymouth has been defined by two things: academic freedom and incredible support. I was able to lead complex, consultancy-style projects (like my work on Singapore Heat Stress policies) that felt like real professional work, not just coursework. The resources in the Marine Building and library are top-tier for anyone willing to push themselves. Plymouth offers a rare balance: it challenges you intellectually to reach distinction levels, but supports you personally when life gets hard. Highly recommended for students who want resilience alongside their degree.

My first year studying Banking and Finance at UWE has provided a highly robust foundation in capital markets and financial systems. The absolute best aspect is the practical application of macroeconomic theories and the rigorous analytical frameworks taught by the faculty. The facilities, particularly the trading room simulations, offer excellent asymmetric upside for developing real-world quantitative skills. If I had to suggest an area for improvement, it would simply be expanding the availability of niche financial technology modules earlier in the undergraduate curriculum to stay ahead of market trends. Overall, an excellent ROI for my educational capital, and Alhamdulillah for the highly supportive environment.

Pros: "The sense of community and the support from the Students' Union have been highlights of my time here. The campus facilities are modern, and there’s a great balance between academic rigour and social opportunities." The best part of my university experience is how helpful my lecturers/academic advisors are. I also like how friendly students are on my campus. I don't have anything to say for "worst" aspect of university since I enjoy my time here.
