PROS - The university has been absolutely stellar at providing opportunities to those who put in that extra effort. - Support, particularly the maths gym provided by the uni for those needing extra math tuition is an incredible resource. - Lecturers are always quick to respond to questions and available for feedback out with timetabled classes. - The facilities available to electrical engineering students (the GRiD in particular) is very good. More advanced equipment is available to those who require it through research projects or other related endeavours. - The university shop and various cafes/canteens all have quality products and competitive prices. CONS - Some course have suffered when lecturers are delivering them for their first time. This is understandable however. - Issues with inaccurate or frequently fluctuating timetables can be frustrating at times.

The university staff are really supportive and helpful. Both university campuses at Exeter, Devon are beautiful and has lots of scenery to enjoy and relax. The accommodations are spacious and lovely The only downside i can think of is the steep hills that you need to go through on a daily basis.

Why do you let school kids into the UNIVERSITY library ? There is a public library 5 mins away, they don’t understand any library etiquette, I’m trying to revise for my fourth year medicine exams and they are chatting on level 5?! And let’s not even get started on level 4 which is meant to be a silent level, sounds like a socialising cafe during exam season. If you’re going to let them in , at least enforce the rules of silent study or say they can only go on one floor. They’re not paying 10K a year so how come they can use the library facilities and disrupt the people who do pay?

The Best: Any clarity on studies, student life, mental health, physical fitness was easily approachable and helpful. Professors are very kind and knowledgeable. When questioned correctly they are ready to help at any extent. Access to library and fitness is very useful and maintained promptly. Ambience and location of the university is perfectly held.

UCLan is a great place to study because of its friendly staff, diverse student community, and excellent facilities like the library and sports centre. It provides strong academic and personal support. One area for improvement could be creating more study spaces during exam periods and adding more campus events to bring students together.

The University Experience was Good for me when I compare to own Country (India) Whereas the Students and Faculties in the University are well Mannered and Giving respect to each other and the Teaching is also good . I like the location as it’s near to central London without the hustle and bustle. It’s also got a nice river and close to the train station. I like how there’s a range of projects and the diversity of the subject. I dislike how confusing the initial project Hidden in Plain sight was as it didn’t make practical sense to me.

What makes my uni a great place to study is their student support. They try to help their students in any way possible to ensure that students get the best out of their education. I think it would be better if the university put more effort into societies and clubs such as sporting clubs and teams . It would help the university to have more of a community and really showcase other talents other than what students already study on their courses. My university do have societies and some sporting teams, however some of the societies don’t run anymore and it’s not made to be as big as it was when I first heard about it before I joined uni. I think it’s important to have that feel of community and university culture and to also show the inclusiveness of different cultures, groups and activities in which people associate them selves with.
