A good study environment is quiet, comfortable, and free from distractions. Having enough space to work, good lighting, and access to resources like books or the internet also helps. A calm atmosphere makes it easier to concentrate and stay focused for longer periods. Being in a place where you feel relaxed but motivated can improve how much you get done. And I feel like NTU does all of these things!

Studying journalism at Nottingham Trent University is engaging because of the mix of in-person and blended learning, along with practical sessions like writing and media production. Lecturers are supportive and approachable, often bringing real industry experience. The course is well-structured, with a good balance between taught sessions and independent study.

This University is an excellent bridge between being in education and the real work life, one reason is the University is integrated into the city of Nottingham making you feel part of the city and not just a student on a campus. The social aspect of NTU is amazing, so many students in the city with so many differing opportunities and activities for every student

The lectures are online, which is so much more flexible as a student as they can be watched when and wherever suits the student best and can be re-watched if you didn't quite understand or want to revise for the exams/coursework. The seminar classes are all in person which is a great opportunity to interact with the teaching materials given in the lectures with other students and lecturers
