The university is in a great location and most lecturers present lectures in a way that is more engaging and understanding than just saying what is on a slide and the information not processing however some focus more on academic wellbeing than struggling with student life and how this may impact things such as attendance and motivation. While there is many facilities that offer help with these issues, some professors fail to see that although there is help available, receiving the help and adapting is a process not an instant change that can be made. I also find that most of my assignments are group projects and while I understand the benefit this has, some people participate more and some less and I feel that independent work is more beneficial and helpful to me.

I thoroughly enjoy the optional modules and feel passionate about them however some optional modules are packed with information and assessed through group work which I feel doesn’t benefit the future options I want to pursue. It is always easy to contact lecturers when I need help however some lectures are very late in the day and it may be the only lecture on that day so it is often demotivating.

While it was quite expensive, the rooms and social areas were clean and spacious and the accommodation itself was in a perfect location for academic and social life however the lift was broken for the majority of the year.
