It’s all good worth it.

It’s all good

There is damp anywhere

Student union gives lots of development opportunities, employability offer plenty of active guidance for how to obtain a job after graduation (CV help, interview practice, cover letters, etc.), lecturers are able to reply and give feedback in a timely manner, one-to-ones are encouraged, campuses are beautiful and easy to access, libraries have lots of resources, societies are plentiful. Just an amazing institution. As for how it could improve? Sometimes there are technical problems but there's usually someone around who knows how to fix it. Sometimes holds up class or studies but isn't a dealbreaker by any means.

My course has a lot of contact time with my lecturers, which makes it good value. I didn't come to university to not be at university, so for me this is most important. I've never had a substandard lecturer here in either my undergraduate or postgraduate years. They've all been involved and have taught their subjects well. No complaints.

When I stayed in NTU student accommodation years ago, my experience was mostly positive. College Drive was best value for money as it was on the Clifton campus, was cheap and was solely for mature students. Only issue is that the rooms were few and this number became smaller, and management could be slow to respond (but they did reply). New Hall was expensive but huge, whereas Peverell was expensive but small. New Hall was the better value of the two.
