Amazing facilities and great staff. Student support services could use a little work, just to smooth the transition between help.

The library in city campus makes Nottingham Trent a great place to study and feel part of the student culture. It is open 24/7 and has various resources available. Also, the students' union is fantastic, there are so many opportunities offered by the executive's team, for example, their' give it a go' events. A way it could be improved could be easier transport links between the three main campuses (City, Clifton and Brackenhurst) for students who live at one campus but study at another.

I would say that my course is best taught in person, rather than online learning, however resources uploaded online following lectures/seminars that are in person, are also very useful, especially if a student is unable to attend in person learning. One thing I could mention that could be improved is tutor contact time, however I understand the difficulty of remaining in contact with such a large number of students over the period of an academic year.

Being stuck inside for most of my first year of university due to the pandemic, I really appreciated how nice my first year halls were; extremely clean, 24 hour staff on site and perfect location for university studies and social life. The only downfall would be the price with Gill Street South being one of the more expensive official Nottingham Trent student halls, however I was well aware of the price when choosing to live here during my first year of university.
