I have loved my time at university and am glad I chose trent to study. The social and academic parts have both been excellent in their own ways and will be sad to leave.

Very good. The facilities are very up to date and modern. There’s lots on offer depending on what your course is they have the facilities to use.

The academic support is very good and helpful. The tutors will usually answer emails quickly so you aren’t left waiting too long and will try very hard to help you resolve any issues.

The SU is great! It always has events going on and the food/drink deals there are really high in value for money! The SU club night is very good too and really popular

The university is in a great location! It’s very central and there are lots of accommodation surrounding it which is good. There are also lots of shops to choose from a short distance from uni and the accommodation surrounding it so shopping is easy

There is a huge and wide variety of societies including sports which cater to everyone’s interests

I like least how independent the learning is as I find I need a lot of support but I can get further support from the library so that’s not a problem. I like the most how varied the modules we learn are and how they are both interesting and relevant and applicable to real life jobs.

There are always lots of careers events going on and steps to success seminars to help your employability skills. The employability team are very helpful and have drop in sessions every day.

It’s located very close to public transport ie trams, trains. This is very useful to me as I commute! There is such a general friendly atmosphere when walking around campus. I haven’t visited the student accommodation and I’ve only been studying at NTU for a few weeks so I have no opinions on the facilities as of yet.

I have no problems with the course content and I appreciate the option to work from home in one of my classes (stats) and hope this continues in my next term. I haven’t had to contact my lecturers for anything other than attendance however replies have always been prompt despite busy schedules.
