I am a PhD student and I would say that I really enjoy being a part of this institution. Having a doctorate is one of the goals in my life and I am proud that I have been able to work towards it. The University is just fantastic. It has all the facilities you could think of and the research facilities are beyond our thoughts. The University believes in helping students whenever they are in need. This shows that they really care for their students. Dont be shy to ask the University if you got any problems. They are there to help.
Studying at Northumbria is really enjoyable. It is in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, which is awarded the best university city. I love my course as it covers a big range of modules and materials, and also the lecturers are very skillful and helpful. The university has great facilities, the library is excellent and also the practicals are carried out perfectly well. The Students Union is one of its kind. If you fancy having more eye candy in your University, Northumbria is the place to be. Not to forget, the nightlife of Newcastle is excellent.
Had a great time there, made loads of friends and had so many amazing nights out. Newcastle nightlife is the best in the country so naturally being a student there is incredible!
it might just be me but one massive negative about my uni is how people seem very hesitant to talk outside of their social groups, a problem for me as i struggled to make friends.but the uni is lovely to look at the library is impressive and generally the tutors are friendly
ood experience. 1st years fun, Newcastle has a good night life and Halls make it easy to meet new people/make new friends. Lectures can be long, especially when they go on for 2 hours but staff are helpful and nice.

good uni, good fun, good nightlifei love it.
Northumbria overall is great. my course is a little disappointing and the halls are very overpriced.
Northumbria University is everything I expected and more, friendly, open minded people, a great night life, a busy exciting city centre, and intellectually stimulating lectures. Couldn't ask for more.
Since starting as a direct entry student. I've settled into Northumbria very well. The facilities are fantastic, the teaching is great! It feels like I'm going to work each morning.I only wish that I had more than two years left at Northumbria. It is a fantastic university and one I would recommend to anyone.

Great uni in a great student city. Save up money to come with!

The uni is quite modern and chilled out. There are a lot of supermarkets which I think is a very good thing. It is always nice when there are a few in a walking distance. My course modules are very interesting, the lecturers are witty and are pretty helpful. I like the University accommodation provided. The entire block is very friendly and outgoing. The city is excellent and has a lot of clubs and pubs. The university has modern facilities and has an excellent sports centre. I like the lecture theatres, they are modern and there are a lot of cafeterias within the university. The careers team is always there when you need them.
