I am a student of English language studies at Northumbria and i am very delighted to be a student at Northumbria University. The students here are very friendly and also everyone is quite competent. You constantly feel a greed of getting ahead of your classmates and that is what makes you successful. What I like the most about Northumbria is its campus, which is very thoughtfully built having all the modern amenities and also with a lot of facilities like the student services, library and the computer rooms very close to each other.
I am a second year Psychology student and the things learned by me at Northumbria Uni cant be beaten. I feel I know much more about my course than the students studying the same course at other universities. Also, the course is taught in much depth and the lecturers are well respected in the field. There cannot be a better univesity than Northumbria if you want to be here for studies while not giving up your leisure activities of partying hard on weekend, as Northumbria is one of the best universities in terms of location.
I am a student at Northumbria studying Mechanical engineering. I love what the University has for its students. They are always planning to improve all the courses by including in the course some practical aspects of the course and thus helping the students to actually learn more about their course. The University also helps the students to find summer placements, or part time jobs while at uni, and even graduate jobs through its career services, which help you improve your CV, and also help you if you have some questions arising about it.
Northumbria is the coolest University. There may be difference in how different courses are ranked, but according to me, it is the course you do, and the experience. Nobody would be bothered about the University you went to, 5 years after graduation as long as you did good at uni, have a degree, gained some work experience ( which you certainly will ), and know your work. While you would carry on with your studies at uni, you will also have a chance to have fun on weekends with your friends as the city life is awesome and has one of the best nightlife in UK.
Northumbria Uni is in a city which is one of the best cities in UK to be a student. The University is perfect for those who want to study and party at the ame time. As the city has two Universities, namely Northumbria and Newcastle, you know that you will have fun up here as there will be a lot of students from these Universities. Also, there are a lot of international students so you will be able to make friends from places which you didnt even know about . All these things make Northumbria a popular choice.
Northumbria is always trying to make itself a better uni for students. It is already a very good uni, if not the best. They have a large number of courses and combined honours can help you select two or more different subjects and can help you create a degree as unique as you can think of, even though the subjects you choose are not related to each other. If you come to Northumbria, you should be well prepared for crazy drinking on nights out and it is pretty normal to come home totally drunk and not remembering anythin next morning.
Northumbria is a brilliant uni. I dont think I would give a second thought before recommending it to someone. The uni is excellent, it has everything you need, the students and the locals are friendly, it is situated right in the city centre and everything is at your doorstep. Also, the city's nightlife is very nice. When you live in halls, every weekend there will be a blast and you will start loving the uni life. I am having a really good time at Northumbria.
Northumbria has good teaching and non teaching staff. The lecturers always make sure that every student understands the concept they teach. The uni has a lot of facilities and is quite modern and hi - tech. I love my course and I am very happy with the overall University experience. The only thing that bothers me is that many students from different unis keep telling me that most big companies are not interested to come to Northumbria. But I have also seen a lot of students getting placed in excellent companies at good positions. I am not sure about what would happen with me. But there is still time to think about it and I am enjoying at uni now.
I am enjoying my life to the fullest at Northumbria Uni. I think it is an excellent uni. You will be able to experience great nights out and also will be able to see some funny scenarios in this toon city which you might not be able to see in any city in the world. You will never be at a loss for things to do or new people to meet.
Being at uni is the best thing anyone can experience, the things learnt at uni are time management, time assignment to different workpieces, money management, making friends and also becoming responsible and independent. It is the time when you become a responsible individual. I am happy that I chose Northumbria as the expenses in the city are not that high as compared to London and Birmingham. Also, the people at uni are very friendly and the nightlife of the city is very nice.
Choosing Northumbria is the best decision I have ever made. It has everything I need, actually a bit more than that. The course may be fast paced as we dont have much time between our first day at uni and Christmas break, shortly after which are exams. I would say that if you are choosing flatmates to stay with for the second year, think carefully as you may feel somfortable around them when you are in halls, but it may become difficult to live in a house where you will have to spend a lot of time with each other.
I am loving it at Northumbria University. I am learning a lot from the lectures . The best part of studying here is that the profesors teach us everything from the scratch. They are sure that there are some students who already know a little bit about the topics, but they prefer teaching it from the beginning, and that is good as it helps the students to get all their concepts clear. The lecturers would also ask questions to random students in the class about the topic, so that makes the lectures more interactive.
Northumbria uni was my only preference while applying for the uni. The uni has great facilities. i lived in Claud Gibb hall, which was catered accommodation and was really nice. i would say that any fresher should look forward to staying in halls especially in claud gibb, as you will definitely meet a lot of people in the dining areas in a catered accommodation and you can be sure that you wont be undernourished. Also, it is the best when you are tired because of working hard in the uni and want to come home to getting ready food, and not having to cook.
So far, northumbria has been extreaamely good and I hope it continues to be the same in the future years to come. I have spent a lot of my time out partying in the city, clubs like Tiger Tiger and House of Smith, so i can talk plenty about going out in Newcastle upon Tyne. Its a very vibrant city, it has amazing nightlife. One thing that could have been better is the artists and concerts in Newcastle. The queue to get in the club can be so long that you would have to wait there for ages even if you are on guestlist. But its worth waiting as the scene in the clubs is just awesome.
I am a student at Northumbria and I have been loving it since I am here. The socialising at Northumbria is really good, its cheap and there are a lot oft things to do. I love the course I am doing, the lecturers are all highly qualified in their teaching areas and the facilities are always improving. My advice to anyone looking to join Northumbria would be to try joining a sports team, just a team, you will be able to meet so many different people and have a lot of fun. Also, you should always look forward to staying in halls.
I would say that Northumbria is a good university, if not the best. I was looking at all the Universities, went for open days in several universities, but none of the universities was as appealing as Northumbria. It had a totally different vibe. The buildings of Northumbria uni and the halls are completely modern. The rooms at Northumbria's halls of residences were much better than other universities, in terms of space as well as quality. On top of that there were a lot of options of catered accommodation so that you dont need to cook in your first year.
According to me, Northumbria is the best uni if you believe in the lines "Dont just go behind success, go behind excellence and success will follow ". The teaching quality and the teaching methods in Northumbria are on a next level. It is this teaching that will help you to know the concepts clearly and will help you in future. The uni concentrates more on the practical knowledge, that will be more useful in life. The uni has great facilities required for studying as well as good infrastructure suitable for labs and practicals, seminars and conferences.
My uni experience at Northumbria uni is going really good and I hope it continues to be the same. The university is very lively with some sorts of events always going on in the students union, and also the students are very friendly. Nights out are always great and freshers week was the best week in the whole term. The students union is well built and is the best chilling place on campus. All you have to do is to make a budget and stick to it and you will enjoy the life at uni.
Northumbria Uni is brilliant. I am a second year student and I loved my first year and I have enjoyed my second year so far,. The only problem is that uni modules become more complicated while you are in your second year, and it is much more stressful than the first year, but it should not be a problem if you study for your course twice a week. So you can just study on the weekend, in the afternoon and would come out with flying colours. Overall, the uni has helped me a great deal in knowing my potential.

I am a second year student who is studying Nursing at Northumbria University and the course is really vast. Northumbria has helped me to achieve high in my course. I was surprised by the facilities provided by University and also the campus is so close to the city centre that you can just walk into town between your lectures, or for some reasons, skip the lectures to hang out ( it is fun to do that sometimes ). I am quite satisfied with my decision about going to Northumbria, and I would certainly recommend it to any student looking to go to uni.
