Get involved in other activities outside of your studies to get the best experience. It also can help your get extra credits and get attention from tutors
Good uni. Very hard work when doing a part-time degree when having a full time job also. The job opportunities are good only for domestic students. Don't be discourged if not find a job here too easily. Be aware of this fact and don't start uni if you are not about to learn.
Processing well with most lecturers, some struggle to help students understand fundamentals. Accommodation to p/t students. Make sure you bring warm clothes it is very cold in Uk and if you are a smoker quit or bring your cigarettes for whole year: all these stuff are hella expensive.
The experience here is amazing. You will be surprised by the benefits of being a sudent in Northumbria uni. The uni has various tie ups with different companies in various field, a lot of new people and amazing tutors to ask help from. Be prepared for the best experience of your life
I think that it's information to make sure that you complete your work with people on your course it helps to have other people around so that they can help you and you can help them
Northumbria staff, student services and students union are all great , the facilities are great especially the sports facilities. The city Is amazing and the modules interesing. Is simply the heaven
I am finding the course very enjoyable and challenging. I would definitely advise people to study the course, telling them to make sure of the excellent facilities
Northumbria University is a great place to get a degree. The teaching is top match and the online Electronic learning Portal makes submiting work and receveing feedback very easy, tidly and concise.
Sweet. People are carry, not snobby like elsewhere. Still a good standard though. Make sure you rent a house with minimum of 4 people as it is a lot cheaper than living in uni halls. Also travel a lot around and make friends
University is enjoying and full of great opportunities to develop academically and socially. The best advice I can give is to sign up ASAP.
Go for the night life otherwise all the universities are the same. My advice while choosing your uni is to be aware of the city you will be living in.
It's a great place with loads of nice people. Some of the lecturers are more than happy to help if you stack with anything in terms of work. Invest in a water proof coat, it's very cold and it rains a lot. Weather is unfriendly but the life here is amazing!!!
Studying at Northumbria, I cant imagine being at any other place except for Northumbria, as it is one of the best unis for my course, i.e. Sports, Exercise and Nutrition. It has a huge sports center, a facility that is not available in most universities. The facilities in uni are great. We can work all night long if we wish to, or just go and chill with the friends in our halls, if we dont wish to work. It is totally focussed on student convenience, and I feel all universities should be of the same nature.
I am enjoying my time at uni and I think it is the best way to learn to be independent as you will stay away from your family, away from the comforts of your home, there will be nobody to tell you if the things you do are right or wrong, you will have to manage your bedtime routine and learn to wake up on time for important things. All this will be learnt by our own mistakes, and that would teach us that we need to be more responsible in the future. Staying like this for 3 years will also help us become mature. The main aim of being at uni is to become responsible and mature.
Northumbria is one of those universities which is moving up the table of university rankings very quickly. They have unique courses and more get added every year. This shows that they take the student suggestions very seriously. They are always keen on improving the overall student experience which increases the student satisfaction about the uni considerably. Also, the students get their preferred room in the halls as they have massive halls and that too in large numbers. Also the rooms are quite big.
The uni is really amazing. the University staff really works hard so that the students have no problems while they are at uni. You will always manage to find a quite place inside the uni to continue your work. If you want to catch up with your friends, you can go to the many cafeterias they have on campus, or any local takeaway or cafe in the town as it is so nearby. Also, the library is open 24 hours during term time, so you dont have to worry if you feel comfortable working only in the library.
If you look at the rating i gave, there are no fields in which I would mark Northumbria below 4 out of 5. That is because Northumbria doesnt deserve a rating below that level. it is such a good university. I am quite happy with the uni facilities and my course, i.e. Computer Science. Obviously there would be a lot practicals and lab works and you would have to sit in the computer clusters for most of your uni life, but that would also be your life if you are actually looking forward to work in that field in future.
I have always had a passion for sports, but it is hard to find a degree in sports as there are quite a few Universities in UK who offer a degree in sports. When I came to know about Northumbria's course "Applied Sports and Exercise Science", I knew what to do. I already knew how good Northumbria is and about its nightlife, therefore I was very excited about being a student at Northumbria. So far it has been really good for me and I am quite happy with my course and I would say that you should definitely join Northumbria if you are interested in this or any other course.
The uni is awesome. You will surely enjoy your time at this uni. There is somuchto do and the people you will meet in halls would be awesome. Also, the security guards at the halls would be very friendly and also alert at the same time. There will be crazy parties everywhere in the uni as well as in the city. You just wont be able to get enough of it. Every party will be different, and you would be able to enjoy every party, just join in with everyone and socialize, thats what uni life is all about.

Absolutely loving the uni experience it is everything I have expected with tobe:) I adive everyone to come here and study hard , get a degree and a wonderful dream job as it is very possible
