There is plenty of nature areas around bangor which is beneficial for my course. The student life is also good with a range of things to do.

Plenty of fieldtrips to get out and about to do hands on activities. Decent sized lecture spaces. Lecture times can be a bit awkward as they have big gaps between lectures and for my course is random times every week.

It is a good affordable accommodation and any maintenance issues have been solved straight away. The location is not the best as it is up hills from majority of my lecture buildings.

Bangor is an amazing location between the mountains and the sea, and the University buildings are pretty. staff, especially at the students Union, are amazing, and the free societies are also really good!

The course is taught almost completely in person, with some smaller lectures with around 60 people, and some large with around 500 people. There's a good amount of field work, allowing you to put what you've learnt in lectures into real life scenarios in the field, which I enjoy. Modules range a lot, from Conservation, to general zoology.

The older halls are okay- you get what you pay for, although price is decreasing for next year (24/25), which will be more reasonable and affordable. older halls are basic, and can be quite cold- but they're good enough. They're in good location, with lots of events and opportunities available, and amazing views of the menai strait and the mountains.
