Good uni, cares for it's students, but there's not much to do and if nightlife is your thing then i wouldn't recommend it (thankfully i am an introvert, so this wasn't a problem for me). Also, good luck with main arts if you're dyspraxic or otherwise prone to getting lost, that building is a nightmare to navigate.

Some lecturers are really good and others are dull. My lectures tend to have quite a lot of people in them so they're busy and loud, but if you have a smaller course then this would be less of an issue. As for content, we had many multiple choice quizzes on blackboard, that's the main assessment format.

it's decent for what you pay to be honest, i'm in a quiet block in the old-style halls so they're a bit dated but to be honest that doesn't really bother me. Things do tend to break, but maintenance are quick to fix it when they do as long as you report it. only downside is that if you're near the gym, you'll hear music blasting at 7am, but I suppose that's good for waking you up in time for lectures?
