Bangor as a University prioritizes you as a student, there are a plethora of facilities for students from all backgrounds and needs to feel welcomed here. The student Union is very active and always hosts events for the student body. The university prioritizes environmentalism and ensures that regardless what field we peruse, that we do it in a sustainable and ecologically friendly manner.

Bangor is such a small town, making it very easy to contact your lecturers, tutees and staff, everyone's emails are made available via the University email service. Our facilities has some of the best in the UK, we are one of the only Universities with an environmental microbiology lab, studying extremophiles. Our staff are passionate and are eager to teach their given topic, along with also having the leeway to switch it up, every year there is a module survey that we can fill out which has allowed for a lot of student led decisions being made on the direction of certain modules.

Bangor University is in a stunning location on the doorstep of so many adventures. The lecturers and student support is fantastic, and I feel so at home at Bangor. The lectures are engaging, explore novel topics, and are genuinely fantastic to attend.

Bangor University has aimed to return to mostly face-to-face contact this year and has done an incredible job. Uni feels almost like it did in 2019 and it is great that we get to return to in-person lectures, clubs, and activities. The teaching is always up to an incredible standard and I genuinely love being at Bangor!

Bangor isn't particularly racially diverse. It would be great to see more diversity going forwards!

The halls were great to live in, and it was awesome to have a weekly cleaner. The only downside was having to use circuit laundry!
