The uni has many different aspects to love, from scenic views and amazing fieldtrips to provide in the field experience. To lecturers who are passionate about their subjects and sharing that knowledge. The Student Union also give students ample support both academic and social. Students are a major factor in helping the university run, from student ambassadors, mentors and peer guides. The downsides are often related to timetabling, often due to the sheer number of students, the School of Environment and Natural Sciences often have sporadic classes which are rarely timetabled for the same time each week. This irregularity often makes it hard for students to work around their students, which is usually essential in the current economic circumstance.

Lectures are often in person with added opportunities to attend talks by guest lecturers both online and in person. Course content is often relevant to current situations and relates back to possible career opportunities.

Area is well managed and offers plenty of study spaces and social areas. A mentor team is always active to help with out of hour issues like mental health. Only issues tend to be the speed at which maintenance arrive to fix issues in flats and the website often not working for students.

Gorgeous campus buildings. Amazing surrounding area for hiking, walks, or just site seeing. Accommodation is very good with cleaners and security and laundry rooms. Friendly lecturers. Many societies, sports clubs, volunteering and campus life opportunities.

Taught in class. Some days have many hours of class time and some have little to none. My course does not have a regular class schedule. Lecturers are friendly. Haven't contacted them directly online so unsure of timings. Sometimes take a while to grade work.

(Context: I live in an 8 person flat but we only have 6 residents) Rooms are laid out lovely. Kitchen is decent size with two stoves and sinks so good for shared flat. Fridges decent size. Very far to walk to most shops though. Shower heads are weird and have one big hole and not many small ones, sometimes shower curtain can stick to you due to small, triangular shower layout.
