Everyone has been super friendly and supportive and all the lecturers have been great. Enjoyed making friend while in university accommodation. No real worst aspects.

Very interesting and enjoyable. Only thing is some lecturers are too slow at getting though the lectures.

Convenient location and room was very nice.

I find this place perfect for environmental and conservation degrees. The location suits it well, with a botanical garden within walking distance, a coast for spotting and counting sea birds and many triple SI areas to work on based on your course. The facilities are also very central and easy to access, and are comfortable to be in (It's amazing to get out of the consistent Welsh rain into a nice warm place with comfy chairs). There is also a variety of locations, depending on what you're after, with high energy, busy places for when you need to feel like you're getting out of the house and being productive; smaller areas with cubicles and circles to encourage good group work for when you have group projects; and both cozy and grand quiet places for when you need some peace and quiet to study. The variation is great. Despite all these study places and the resources provided for study, I still fell behind a little bit when life got messy. Through this all, the support system in place has been doing a wonderful job at propping me up and helping me get back on track. Tutors, lecturers and the wellbeing team are a wonderful asset here, and are all amazing in their own ways. The only thing I would improve is the feel of the myBangor website- it feels a bit outdated and is sometimes fiddly to work. It might just be my ineptitude with technology, but I feel like that website is temperamental and wants to fight me.

My modules are all taught in person. be that through lecture in one of the many lecture theatres, at the botanic garden, in a lab with a practical or whilst out on a field trip. Sometimes its frustrating that there's no set schedule and that they set things for whenever there's space in a lecture hall or for whenever a lecturer is free, but that's just how planning works out. I may also just be grumpy about having to wake up early for my 9am lectures. I am not morning person. Contact with lecturers and my tutor is quick and easy. They'll often respond on weekends for important things. They are much nicer people than me, I would never.

For last year and this year I have been living in Bryn Eithin. I have already booked my room for next year in the same halls (even the exact same room). Bryn Eithin is the cheapest, budget option out of all the Uni halls, with a kitchen shared between 8 and a bathroom and (separate) shower shared between 4. The internet is surprisingly amazing, which feels out of place when the building is... in this state. The building is fairly old and as such maintenance requests are frequent. The plumbing isn't great (although we've a sneaking suspicion that there is someone living with us who uses an unmoderated amount of toilet paper and keeps clogging the pipes), so there's always an active maintenance request for something or another. And sometimes they even get fixed! HOWEVER, I wouldn't swap these halls for anything. The minor inconvenience is worth the price tag and that extra money leaves comfortable breathing room for me. And maybe with better flatmates, this wouldn't be an issue. But that's just speculation. I have no proof... Just a gut feeling. There's a lot of locked doors only workable with specific lanyards so I feel very safe. Safe enough to leave my room door unlocked for most of the day. However for people that make enemies (Toilet paper guy took offense to someone asking them to move out of the way of a cupboard), there's not much the management team will do. Despite emails and people backing them up and evidence of hostility, not much was done about TP guy. He still lives with us, and thankfully just ignores his foe now. The shouting matches were a little bit unnerving. Long story short- Facilities and location are great! Just be careful about people. No one can account for human behaviour and that's where things start not holding up.
