The business school is one of the best in the country. I get the benefits of many unique opportunities that are offered as a result. We have lots of business school only resources that I am so grateful for. My course is so interesting and each module leader have such different perspectives. The city itself is beautiful and easy to get around. I love that despite being in such a busy city I am so close to the beach and parks.

The course is mainly in person for around 12 hours a week. The seminars are all in person and small groups make for such a laid back environment where you can really connect with your peers and lecturer and learn so much more. Approximately 1 of my lecture a week is online but this usually falls on a day where I don’t have to go into uni so it’s great! All lectures are recorded so you have access to both the PowerPoint before lectures and the recording with lecturers voice and slides moving with them.

I like how close the halls are to the business school and only a 15 min walk from main campus. We are in the city centre and it feels very safe. Value for money is great compared to other Newcastle Uni accommodations in my opinion. It is very new and clean with great views and great kitchen space. Large kitchen for 5/6 people is great! Maintenance staff also very good at replacing appliances and helping with any issues and very easy to request this.
