I really like the studio spaces and workshop facilities. It would be better if some taught workshops were more regularly available.

i really like the studio open times and how i can come and go as i please. it may be better if my tutors emailed me more for tutorials, but i think this is an issue that doesn't apply to every tutor.

I thought my uni halls were very very good. the rooms were clean and very good. Only issue was the wifi in my specific building.

The universities treatment of pro-palestinian activists both individually and as a collective has been deplorable. The university continues to lie about its investments in fossil fuels, weapons companies and more, while attacking student's use of free speech. The security team on the university does not protect the students but only the monetary interests of the universities governing body. The university has binned students protest art, encouraged police violence and racially profiled and disciplined protestors. Studying fine art at newcastle has incredible facilities and a really wide breadth of extra workshops, symposiums, exhibitions ect.

we get lots of contact hours and a wide variety of content. Some lectures are more interesting than others

a nice distance from uni but some less safe walkways in the dark to get there
