The facilities are great at the uni and there’s always so much to do in Newcastle. Also the uni’s mental health support team are top tier - cannot fault whatsoever. To improve, the student union could put on more events to make it more of a social space for students.

I like that the course is diverse and we study a range of authors outside the literary canon. However, I’ve found that module choices are limited for those who prefer more contemporary literature, particularly in the second year.

I really enjoy studying at newcastle university because the study atmosphere is very positive. The teachers are very supportive and help each person individually and the library has a lot of facilities to enable common studying with your peers! I am very positively surprised by the university and its effort to enable a good working environment
