Wellbeing is 10/10. Academic feedback can be improved
Unorganised. Clashes regularly
Academic is good, mental health support is lacking
Housing is very expensive
Sport has really increased my enjoyment of uni
Very very good. I love my classes, friends, and my placement currently. I have had a lot of experiences talking to services users already- I only started in September! We also have a lot of hours in the skills labs. I have learnt a lot from this such as how to take manual BP, and how to dress a wound.
I am only in my first few months so I’m not really to sure. We have just received our first placement however. The organising teams are very considerate of how student get to their placements.
My course has a very big cohort- that’s the only negative really as we don’t have 1-1 time with out lecturers. However I am very happy with all of my fellow peers and how well suited everybody is to each other- we all have similar aspirations and characteristics which makes friend making very good.
Very good! Support the students fantastically.
Very good! A lot of character with a mix of old architectural features and brand new skills labs etc.
Yes definitely, not far from the bull ring
I am not involved in any, but I know there’s a load available, 10/10
The lecturers are always available to talk to us about any concerns we may have, we also have contact with a team of specialists who are able to help students with their mental health or any other special needs they may acquire.
Great. It is fun and interesting to do. I would highly recommend this university to future generations to come. Teachers are interested in teaching you new stuff.
Overall university has been quite a new interesting experience, it taught me personal and interpersonal skills i didn't know i needed, i had many opportunities to grow as a person
Provides me with the skills experience and qualifications needed for the job
They definitely do try to involve students from all backgrounds and interests
Yes, it is really close to supermarkets, restaurants and the university
Not bad, the small year group allows for more personal and helpful tutor sessions
