Newcastle is the perfect place to study, whether you want a night out 7 days a week, beach trips every weekend or 24/7 support form the student union

Even when on placement at the hospital you still have contact hours every week with teaching fellows, and seminars to reinforce learning.

(Not there anymore)

great nightlife, and lots to do in town. campus is quite close to town, and there’s lots of convenience stores which are open 24 hours. could be improved by having more security in town at night

early placements are good, and being able to access my lecture recordings is very useful. i enjoy the fact that we have learning outcomes so i can guide my learning. sometimes, im a bit confused as to what i actually need to learn for exams, as lecturers put too much unnecessary information on lecture slides at times. i think the amount of course hours is perfect

relatively cheap for what i get. 24 hour security, which have helped me when i lost my keycard and couldn’t get back into my accommodation after a night out. location is very close to the medical school which is extremely useful. wifi can tend to be a bit slow though
