The campus is based in/near the city centre which I love There is so much green space around the campus and lots of different study spaces The students union is not as sociable as most other universities which is a shame, however with Newcastle’s famous nightlife 10 minutes away I can see why students may not be too bothered about this

We have a variety of different teaching sessions, from lectures and seminars to clinical skills, anatomy and simulated patient sessions which I really like. There has been more consolidation integrated into the course this year which gives you even more chance to check your knowledge and understanding. The staff and lecturers are all approachable and answer emails very quickly. They’re always happy to assist you, often offering to meet up to help explain difficult parts of the course. The timetable can be a bit disjointed, with one lecture at 9 am then another at 4m with nothing in between, but its a good chance to get some studying done so you’re not spending evenings and weekends doing it.

Literally so close to town it’s so nice. There is buses, metros and trains all easily accessible from town and bus and metro only costs £1 if you’re under 22. The geordies are all very friendly and Newcastle itself feels very safe

It is a lovely accommodation right next to the Medical school and 10 minutes away walk from the city centre. It is also very big so the opportunities to meet new people are excellent. All the rooms are a decent size for living comfortably in, and the en-suites are nice. You get given air fryers with the accommodation which is good. The park view flats are definitely not the most homely, they can feel like living in a hotel permanently. The accommodation is also very expensive compared to others that are very similar in what they offer

I study Marketing in Newcastle University. The best part is that my acommodation is literally 20 seconds away from the Business School, which is quite rare at any University in UK. Other halls of residence are just a 10 minute walk from the Uni. Overall, I am having a great time in Newcastle learning all the valuable skills and enjoying a really good nightlife.
