the best choice I have ever made
Generally my course and lecturers are good although there is a great deal of variation in quality. I like London. The library at QMUL is awful. The ground floor has been redeveloped and looks great but it needs extending to the first and second floors.
I love uni, its really good fun! I would definitely recommend everyone to come, it's great and once you're here you'll realise just how great it is. Just make sure you write up a good personal statement in order to get a place.
Uni is rather stressful in the final year, so make sure you have fun in your 1st year, but take it seriously as it is the foundation point for learning and the basis for your entire degree. Tips for getting a place would be to work hard and show your enthusiasm for the subject that you want to study, and also show that your the best candidate to get that place at uni.
Uni is great, just make sure you make the most of all the opportunities that are available and get involved in societies. Don't be lazy! But also make sure you work hard as well!
Uni is ok so far. I would recommend that students stay on top of their work load from the beginning as it does tend to catch up with you really quickly. Also the uni year goes sooo quickly, before you even know it, it's the end of the academic year, so make the most of it all.
I'm having a good time at uni so far, and I would definitely recommend the uni to other students.
I'm really enjoying my time at Queen Mary and everyone else I know at this uni is really happy also!
I am enjoying my uni experience, and I would advise student to take it easy when it comes to work, and not to stress too much - talk to your lecturers if you need any help, and get to know them on a friendly level as they are more likely to help. In terms of applying to uni, go with your own intelligence and don't say what you think others want to hear.
I have really enjoyed my 3 years at Queen Mary so far. I have learnt a lot and make a lot of great friends, but I think after 3 years, I'm ready to graduate now. For prospective students, just make sure you study hard and apply early to increase your chances of getting a place.
Being a 1st year student, I would say uni is good so far, just make sure that you stay on top of your work. When I applied I made sure I had participated in a lot of extra curricular activities to ensure I had a good well rounded personal statement.
Being a student at QM is great! Originally I applied to do a different course to what I am studying at the moment, so the uni is really flexible and helpful like that. I would recommend people thinking of coming to study here to make sure they have a look around the campus and attend the open days.
I'm not really enjoying Queen Mary too much. I would tell students to visit open days to see if they can imagine themselves there. Also research the modules that you will be studying to ensure that it is definitely what you want to do.
Studying at Queen Mary is pretty decent. At the moment I have a lot of work on, especially with being in my 3rd year so I am practically living in the library, it's starting to become a bit of a second home.
Uni is tough, especially in 3rd year, but overall it's good. Just make sure you work hard from the beginning and make sure you don't leave work until the last minute. Also make sure you enjoy your 1st year.
Uni is good, but final year is really stressful. Make sure you stay on top of your work load ans stay motivated. My words of wisdom would be "uni is a marathon, not a sprint". Make sure you spend at least 8 hours a week doing work outside of lectures, and although you should enjoy 1st year the most, it still does count for 100of your 2nd year, so you still need to do well! Make sure you do well in your A Levels, get good work experience and write a good personal statement.
Uni is good, and I am really enjoying it. I particularly like the fact that QM in based in London. That's the best bit, I'm really enjoying the city life.
Uni is great, but it is a lot of hard work. Make sure you have the right mind set and are prepared. Take your degree seriously and don't mess about. Also make sure you read around the subject to learn more about what you are actually studying
I like the uni, although it didn't really meet my expectations of uni life. So from my experience I have learnt and would advise others to lower their expectations and be more realistic as to what uni is really like.

The university offers a variety great courses however the administration side lets it down, especially the School of Engineering and Material Sciences. It is difficult to get any request dealt with and there are many issues affecting students negatively (grades and well being) which do not get dealt with. I find it hard to be believe that an institution which charges so much money can get away with providing such a poor service to it's students.
