My course and lecturers are amazing but the Uni is average. Lecturers are all really enthusiastic. I like to cycle and see new things around Bristol. There is a lack of water Fountains at the University but the library is good but also could be online. I'm part of the philosophy society. I've tried to complain before and I've had no reply or anyone to speak to going throundergraduateh support services. My job prospects are fine as I have already found employment.
The lectures are the best part about my course. I love the ice cream bar in Bristol city centre. Uni facilities are good and I think it will be easy to get a job when I graduate.
Good lecturers, great focus of careers with good guidance and advice, the uni prepares you well for work. Only negative point is I feel sometimes the emphasis on careers overshadows some of the harder academic work and I would like to see a more even focus on both.
UWE has excellent facilities that makes learning easy. Most of my lectures are recorded and all notes that are given out in the lectures are put online too. I have learned a number of new computer programs and new skills that I know I can apply to future jobs. My course is brilliant and the lecturers are all friendly and willing to help. The city of Bristol itself is amazing to live in. I find it very different and perfect for students. The shopping is amazing and so is the night life. The university itself is about a 20 minute bus ride away from the city centre which is not ideal for me so in my first year I lived in private halls in the heart of the city. Most people I know did this too. Its much easier for going out in the night because there's no need to pay loads for a taxi! The student union on campus is not fantastic either. There's just two bars where one has a dance floor but its nothing compared to the clubs in the city. I always avoid the SU! Its not too bad during freshers week but this is probably the only time there a worthwhile event on.
Great uni with good facilities. Location isn't great as it's not close to town or any other vibrant part of the city. And my low score for the SU was because everytime I go it's exactly the same and I feel like I'm at a year 8 disco. But these two things are the only bad things i can think of so I guess that makes it a pretty good uni.
My general impression is that UWE is a great uni with good facilities. My low score for the students union was because every time i go it's exactly the same and I feel as if I'm in a year 8 school disco.
amazing, everything is great from the facilities to the lecturers. bristol itself is an amazing city so you're never gonna have a bad night, theres just so much to do!
Fantastic! The people, activities and facilities are more than you could expect! A true pleasure to study at.However they did have an arms fair on campus recently much to the displeasure of the student body and did nothing about it (not to mention it broke campus rules: NO WEAPONS ON CAMPUS!)Though I'd still recommend it to anyone, it's been an amazing few years
The course modules are good a majority taught very well. Some however lack lecturer motivation and charisma leading to 3 years of watching them read off a power point. The campus accommodation is really good but a little pricey. The city is the best by are for everything from nights out to shopping.
Yeah good considering the grades you need to get entry. I dont know how good it would be if I didnt enjoy my course so much though. The accommodation was annoying in first year and over priced but Bristol city is really good.
Nightlife is really good as it covers many peoples tastes in music. The University is far from the City Centre which is inconvenient at time: with a lot of time spent on the buses going to and from uni. The SU used to have pound a pint night which was awesome but since they cut it the SU seems a bit dead. Overall enthusiastic lecturers.
Its averagely good. I enjoy my course but probably wouldnt enjoy UWE that much if I didnt. The city of Bristol is one of the best features of UWE. The lecturers are mostly very good.
Overall I think UWE is pretty great. There is literally so many things you can do as well as your course. The facilities are really good, there's always a quiet room I can go in to do my work and what not. The SU is fun (lots of eye candy ;) ) The whole vibe is awesome, I'm glad I chose UWE.
All in all a relaxed and fun university. Bristol is a fantastic city that I don't think I'll ever want to leave. Uni can be a little confusing at first, especially the bus services getting to and from campus. The facilities are fantastic for the most part. The student union could be a little better, it feels really old and not as modern as the rest of the university. Lectures for the most part are good with the odd exception which 990is down to the lecturer rather than the material.

UWE is a very good university. I've enjoyed the course and the lectures. Accommodation is good as is city life in Bristol. My job prospects really do depend on the market.
