Best part is the study rooms. They’re very well equipped and calming. Worst part is perhaps travel? The buses are very hit or miss.
One of the worst aspects of my university experience so far has been the strikes as they have really impacted by education and generally how often I have interacted with friends and people on my course. My favourite aspect though is living on campus as everything I need is nearby and the shops are only a 15 minute walk. My housemates are also lovely and I really enjoy spending time with them so I'm glad I was put with them. UWE is a great place to study as the lecturers are really friendly and try to help as much as they can and generally the people I have met here, of all ages, have been nothing but nice. However, I feel as though the students aren't supported as much as they should be and therefore putting more effort into mental health support would be beneficial.
Fantastic lecturers and quality of teaching. Region-leading on-campus facilities. New buildings (School of Engineering and Bristol Business School) are great!

There’s a wide range of places on campus to study and there’s laptops and computers incase you don’t have one which has been very handy to me. There’s help on the library desk if you’re stuck with something or you go to info point if your question needs a wider range. But there will also be someone to answer your question. The only thing I’d say to improve maybe some more private study spaces. It can get quite busy and due to this can be a bit noisey in places that are supposed to be quiet which can be distracting when it comes to doing work
Teaching for some modules is below standard.
Great facilities & tutors Accomodation is hard to come by Great clubs nearby but SU could be improved
The university and campus themselves are really good, with good facilities to support your leaning and independent studying. The healthcare campus is equipt with simulation rooms and equiptment to prepare future nurses for practice. The general campus has much better student union and events which make for a good social life, whereas the heamthcare campus is definatley lacking
UWE teaching staff are so supportive and the facility is set up in a way that makes me want to learn when I come on campus. UWE has also been very supportive to me as a mature student and assisted financially where needed. There’s lots of food and drink choices on campus (Frenchay), but my favourite has been the free tea and coffee in the canteen for those with a reusable cup!
UWE is overall a great place to study, the professors and lecturers are all enthusiastic and engaging and are always on hand to help. The university itself has a great support system and really values the mental wellbeing of its students, this is put into place by its Wellbeing Centre and understanding nature towards deadline extensions. The facilities could be improved by offering students more study spaces, quiet break out rooms to work in, modernising the libraries and having better food/drink options. When it is considered that for students, most of the week is spent at campus these aspects are very important.
Bristol is an absolutely amazing city and the university experience is so good in it. At UWE there's a really nice feel across the campus with everyone supporting each other and loads of sports going on. The lecturers are really approachable and really helpful, especially as on my course they're dedicated 100% to teaching and not research too. The classes are really small to help you get the most out of your course. They support you with free sport across the city and have done lots of initiatives to help with cost of living. Overall such a good experience.
Best part of my uni experience is definitely the teaching staff, always available for guidance and advice. Wonderful engaging curriculums. A negative would be facilities such as bathrooms and bike storage.

Too less student accommodations are provided. It could not even accommodate all the first-year students.
More sports facilities
Very supportive community
Good diversity, an adequate amount of study spaces. Good choice of courses. Choice of food on campus could be improved. Student gym membership prices should be more affordable.

It is a good place

Lots of events to offer It could be improved by providing heating as it often gets really cold in the winter especially in the skills rooms . Timetabling could be improved I was often sent emails for different groups
Having emails send to the relevant groups as this can often get confusing. Having blended learning is beneficial
