It was impossible to get student accommodation upon applying here as an insurance on my UCAS application, however the university itself is brilliant, the staff are all very friendly and the other students are very kind and sociable

Best experience: my lecturers are very good. Everything is made accessible which really helps to facilitate my learning especially since I have dyslexia & ADHD. Worst experience: In my first attempt of 2nd year I was very suicidal and was in the process of being diagnosed with various health issues. I completed semester one but I knew I was not in the frame of mind to continue. I spoke to a student advisor who said that I would be able to pause my course and come back the following year, and that I would only have to finish Semester 2. I took the Student Advisor at their word and came back the following year to complete the second semester. After finishing the semester, it turned out this hadn’t been properly arranged with the university and I had essentially done half a year twice without receiving any qualifications. Fortunately I decided to take a placement year because it took a whole year to sort out, and even then, I have returned but some of the modules don’t add up properly. Therefore I have had to take entire modules again (for the third time) to complete pieces of work that are only worth between 5-10% of the final mark. If I was told at the beginning that the grades wouldn’t be able to be added together, I would have continued 2nd year the first time. Instead I have now accumulated 2 more years of student debt because of this error.
I really like UWE I think it’s a great uni that has great facilities, student support, extra curricular activities and job prospects. However, I have not enjoyed the online lessons. I think lessons in person need to happen for me to get the most out of this degree. Online lessons feel like a waste of money.
Great so far all the teachers are friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities are excellent. Although there has been a world wide pandemic they have done there best to accommodate for example they offer 1 to 1 art workshops which are extremely helpful and are easy to sign up for.
Go to Plymouth, Birmingham or Bournemouth. Anywhere but UWE! I only wish I’d known when I accepted the offer that lecturers are far more concerned with research than mere undergraduates; all about the money I guess. Recent change in management structure has seen course go downhill, quickly!
My time at UWE has been very up and down. The information we learn is great thoundergraduateh. My accommodation is far too expensive. The university facilities are alright but we need more study places at the weekend. The student union is too expensive. The support services here are great there is everything you could need.
I have met some amazing people with a fun course to go out with. The mix of practical with lectures is great. My accommodation is comfortable and roomy but expensive. Bristol is buzzing and exciting. The washing machines should be free but things work well within the University. I'm part of the medical science society. The student union is very well organised and has a good night on a Tuesday. Researching jobs in Bristol now and it has been insightful and there're many graduates with jobs.
I have been very happy studying here at UWE. The staff are very helpful and there is good lab equipment so practical are good. Living in Bristol is great. There are plenty of clubs and societies to choose from. The info hub at support services is great.
Overall it has been very good here at UWE but it's a shame we moved from Saint matts. The course is very personal I can easily talk to any one of my lecturers. I like spending time with my friends in the city. There are not enoundergraduateh computers in the library. I'm part of the philosophy society. The student union is quite nice it's nice to see them spending money on improvements. My job prospects could be toundergraduateh in the current climate but with a degree you have a good chance.
The university is great and the lecturers teach with passion. Bristol is a great city to study and live in. The student union is good and they have a lot of events.
I enjoy my time here the sporting lecturers and organised syllabus. I like sitting at Starbucks and drinking coffee. It would be good to have more courts for badminton and maybe longer opening hours for the sports centre. The student union needs to be more active in promoting activities. The support services are excellent especially the well-being and disability support. Job prospects depends on your marketability.
It has been enjoyable here at UWE. So far it has not been too stressful. The course and lecturers are supportive and dedicated. The lectures and syllabus are all relevant to the module. I like wandering around Bristol. The facility accommodates the students well. I'm part of the Malaysian students Association. The student union are very helpful. The well-being support and disability support at UWE is very good.
Overall the university is great. The course and the lecturers are brilliant and deliver the teachings in a very enthusiastic way. At my accommodation the beds are horrible, they are just killing me. I job prospects they should be excellent.
Overall it's great I just don't trust doctors or well-being or the accommodation services here. They leave you to it if you ever strundergraduategle. The lectures are very interesting. The accommodation services are rubbish but quality is good. Shopping is awesome Primark is here and it's amazing. Lots of places to eat. Gloucester Road and white ladies Road is cool the clubs - especially syndicate. Uni facilities are great but we need a swimming pool. There are lots of clubs and societies to choose from. The student union is great but they've just started making us queue on student union Tuesdays. The well-being and doctors on campus are rubbish - don't have a mental health problem here they brush you under a rundergraduate.
Everything is excellent here at UWE. I am really enjoying the course, lecturers and my time in Bristol. The student union is fantastic.

Facilities are slowly being updated and the campus is growing, course content is very good and the blend of distance learning/in person lectures post covid was very good. Find the lecture sometimes disorganised and lack of accountability in teaching staff. Other unis make sure students have regular check ups with mentors but in my experience uwe doesn't do that
Rics accredited. However many students who get the 2md or third year without knowing basics about how a building is constructed
Bristol is diverse, depends if you fall in love with city, seems if you don't always enjoy going out then can get isolating but plenty to do and plenty of people to meet if you're not interested in that. People go to Bristol to discover themselves and it's liberating
