Best Things like academic advisers, library resources, workshops, and student support were very helpful whenever I struggled. Facilities like the library, study spaces, gym, and events made the experience better and enjoyable. My course opened my mind and gave me new skills and knowledge I didn’t have before. Worst Sometimes the assignments, deadlines, and expectations felt overwhelming. Managing money for transport, food, and living costs was challenging at times. There were moments when information from lecturers or admin came late or wasn’t clear, which caused confusion Balancing life and studies Trying to balance classes, part-time work, and personal life was difficult

My university experience so far has been amazing. As a fresher who started just one and a half months ago, I haven’t faced any major challenges yet. The best part of uni life has definitely been the strong student support system, the exciting events, and how friendly and helpful everyone is. It’s truly a great place to learn and explore the subjects I’m passionate about. The campus is filled with quiet cafés and calm workspaces that create the perfect environment for studying and staying focused.

Best aspect One of the best parts of my university experience has been the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. It’s helped me develop a wider perspective and improve my communication skills. I’ve also enjoyed gaining independence, managing my own time, and developing both academically and personally through my course and university activities. Worst aspects: The most challenging part has been balancing coursework, deadlines, and personal responsibilities, especially during busy periods. At times, it can also feel overwhelming to manage stress and stay motivated. However, I’ve learned valuable lessons in organisation, resilience, and asking for support when needed. What makes it such a great place to study: UWE Bristol is a great place to study because it offers strong academic support, friendly staff, and a welcoming community for students from all backgrounds. The campus is modern, with good facilities like the library, study spaces, and technology resources. There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved in events, societies, and employability workshops that help students build confidence and skills for the future. How it could be improved: One area for improvement could be increasing the availability of quiet study spaces during peak times and providing more affordable food options on campus. It would also help to have even more mental health and academic support easily accessible for students who may be struggling.
