The university is a great place to study Psychology. The had great facilities and helpful, friendly staff. The grading could be inconsistent at times, but they marked fairly on most coursework and exams. Unfortunately, the one thing that lets it down is the location. It's nice to have natural beauty around you, but the night life is terrible and the weather is just damp and miserable.
A really lovely environment to study, not just the literal surroundings of rolling hills and stunning countryside as well as the sea just down the road. The facilities are all very good with a wonderful atmosphere and particularly friendly staff who are always willing to help.
It's been amazing since I've been here. The staff are brilliant whether they teach, research or support students and you couldn't ask for a better location to study in.
I love the uni there is a really friendly atmosphere and the lectures are interesting . Everything is near by and easy to get to. The uni provides any suport you need and there are free sociatys which is awesome
I love Bangor University, the close community, the wide range of subjects with current researchers as your lecturers, they have your best interests at heart and really want to help you. There are many societies to join in with, everything from charities to the weird and wonderful. I can guarantee you shall be dressing up as something silly at least once, but no body shall even bat an eyelid as you walk down the high street. The accommodation for first years is a perfect stepping stone from leaving the parental home, with many people in the same boat you make great friends and are close by to all the other students. It's not a big city but everything is not far away.
Really friendly and welcoming with a large range of fantastic lecturer . Lovely setting and work environmen . Free clubs and societies as well as a cheap way of living.
Loved the city, the uni was great, fantastic location and wouldn't have picked a different uni! The only downside was lack of career and job prospects as there wasnt an arts scene in Bangor.
A very nice and friendly university with lots of clubs and societies with something for everyone from paintball to quidditch. Nice student night life, quite safe and lots of cheap pubs
It has a nice environment and is situated in a stunning area of the country, surrounded by the Welsh mountains and the coastline. It is a very friendly university and there is always lots to do. The lecturers are helpful and are very supportive, and there is a large variety of courses to choose from, including taking up 2 or 3 subjects even if you have never studied them before
Very welcoming university, been very easy to settle into university life here and I really feel like I'm at home. I have made so many great new friends and everyone is really kind here. The course is so interesting and I'm learning many new great things and new life skills that i can use.
Great university! The support systems are really good and lectures are more interactive than I thought. All the clubs and societies are free also which means you can play whatever sports you want.
Amazing first year! Peer guiding system allowed you to settle right in and everyone was so lovely you quickly made friends. Although lectures can be boring especially at 9am the lecturers were enthusiastic and very friendly. Nightlife was great although a small town there are still lots of bars and pubs and the clubs are fun! Also means you don't have to pay for taxis :) the only negative of bangor is the hill it never gets easier unless slightly intoxicated!
A small city and great uni in a lovely location provides a fantastic student experience.
The university is really central and friendly. The lecturers are caring and helpful and the course ccntent is interesting.
The university is really good and the course lecturers are extremely helpful with any issues you have.
bangor uni is great😃
Bangor may not be a party city but that doesn't mean it's a boring university. The uni itself is stunning the lecturers are dedicated and helpful and the people here are some of the nicest you'll ever meet. Just because there aren't loads of great nightclubs doesn't mean you can't get drunk and have a good time, it's not the most exciting place to live but it's situated in one of the most beautiful places in the UK and the opportunities it offers it's students are second to none. Give Bangor a chance it might surprise you. I love it here and can't imagine going to uni anywhere else.
I am so glad i went to Bangor uni, because i am loving every single second of being a student here. Bangor is the perfect sized uni, not to small, not to big. wherever you go, you always meet people on the way.
Im enjoying my uni experience a lot. It has changed me as a person in a positive way.

Perfect location with the perfect people in it. Feels so much like home, thinking about graduating and leaving makes me so sad! The course is so interesting and a lot of fun and I would recommend bangor university to anyone.
