All in person class learning which I find really useful

The best aspects of my university experience: One of the best things about studying here is the supportive academic environment. The lecturers are genuinely passionate about their subjects and always willing to offer feedback or extra help when needed. The campus community is also very diverse and welcoming — it’s easy to meet people from different backgrounds and get involved in societies or events. The facilities, especially the library and study spaces, are excellent and make it easier to stay focused and productive. The areas that could be improved: One area that could be developed further is communication and organisation around assessments — sometimes deadlines or marking criteria aren’t made clear early enough.

Best aspects: The course is very well organised and has a good balance between theory and practical work. The lecturers are knowledgeable and supportive, and the facilities, like the labs and equipment, are excellent. There are also great links with industry, which helps with placements and future job opportunities. Worst aspects: Some modules can feel quite intense, especially when several deadlines are close together. Communication about assignments and exam expectations could sometimes be clearer. It would also help to have more hands-on project time earlier in the course.

The location is excellent: the halls are in or very close to the city centre and the campus, so most academic buildings and facilities are only a short walk away. • Everything is pretty much taken care of: utility bills, WiFi, contents insurance are included for most room types. • There is a strong student-community vibe: being in halls means you’re surrounded by other students, which is great for making friends and settling into university lid. What I like least • Some of the rooms (especially the standard/shared ones) can feel quite small, and you might share bathrooms or kitchens, which can be less private or comfortable.
