Sports centre and library very good. Union could have better night life/vibe. Need more microwaves in library.

Work load is heavy. Some lectures are pretty in engaging mainly heat and flow and business. Overall good standard of teaching

Washing machines often didn’t work. Could do with more social areas in halls.

Its a great place to study due to the infrastructure it provides to students with keeping everything in mind from sports, library, auditorium, entertainment center etc. The staff at the University are very well equipped with knowledge & the way they teach & are supportive throughout. Students Union at the University is an add on to the facilities it provides. Sports centre is a great place for all physical & mental exercises along with some dance classes running too. It contains Gym, swimming pool, badminton, football etc as part of what it offers at reasonable rates for students. One thing I would like to highlight is about the availability of accommodation within University campus. Considering the scale of University, they should increase the accommodation count of students so that many students can be made available with the accommodation facility & they don't have to keep on searching them outside & save up on their expenses & time.

The course due to pandemic has been a blended learning experience, however slowly the University has said that they will be moving to in-class teaching (though the decision from them is taking a good time even when other universities have already started that). Also the classrooms count is less for departments which leaves them managing lectures as per availablility. Practical Labs are too taught online which creates problems for students. Overall the teachers are well equipped with knowledge & know what they are teaching (expect 10% of teachers). A very few staff members are not upto the mark at teaching which creates problems for students as they have to rely on self study for that lecture with minimum support from that subject tutor. The Engineering & Management departments at Strathclyde have a great course structure keeping in mind practical world outside & accordingly prepare students for that. Cours hours are also divided nicely which leaves students good amount lf time to study themselves & for other activities as well.

The surroundings & the city is very nice. Not too paced & not too slow. It contains alot of diverse crowd with people being generous & helpful. It gives a positive vibe when you land at Glasgow. You have everything here you need right from big brands to small local shops at your service, from entertainment to adventure. Its a nature friendly city with alot of work done on sustainability. Many facilities for students are very much helpful in their daily routine. Weather can be unpredictable at times as it is around entire UK.
