Great facilities, inclusive, interesting lectures and fun practical sessions
It's a small uni, feels very friendly and community-based. Mental health support is very good.
Niche but interesting courses so it helps fill every creative student’s checklist for what they want to study

Best: Facilities Illustration rooms Worst: Price of canteen food No campus
Best aspects - collaboration within my chosen course, access to studio spaces and the ability to hire out a range of lenses and equipment, supportive tutors and staff Worst aspects - less collaboration with other courses, needing more social events within my course and trips that are affordable to students from working class backgrounds
Best is the tutors and the facilities, worst is not centralised way to pay for using some of facilities, have to pay cash.
The tutors are helpful, casual and treat us like equals. I really enjoy my course so far, I feel comfortable and confident when I come in. It would be beneficial to have more workspaces where there aren't sessions going on, like a room that's always free for independent study and not worry about the time.

everyone is friendly and nice, very welcoming. i like how they allow us to talk to tutors like we are equals and address them by their first name, just feels easier to communicate. the facilities are nice and there's a lot of workshop areas, although i would have liked some software for art to be more updated to recent versions. i would also like more dedicated independent study areas as we only can stay in studios if they're empty and with no ongoing class
I think that Leeds arts is a great place to study, the tutors are really helpful when it comes to studying and they are so welcoming.
The whole atmosphere is fun, friendly, and incredibly creative. Open-minded and open-hearted people fill the buildings. Combined with incredibly talented lecturers, it really is a place to hone your creative career.

University could be more accommodating with understanding student illness and helping those who desperately are struggling to fulfill there briefs.
Many facilities and materials available, at first the building might seem confusing but its easy to get around
Access to equipment is great. Better if Uni could treat filmmaking like other courses.
Uni life and studying in Leeds Art and in general studying in Leeds is definitely the best experience for those wanting to look a place for education. Leeds Art is definitely the place for Art students in the UK as there is more comparability to being able to work with other courses as they all work together. Furthermore, the university offers many social events with clubs though they need more support in terms of starting up.
Incredible facilities that are very easily accessible. I moved from a uni where the facilities were worse and pretty much inaccessible so this is so much of an improvement. Nothing really to complain about.

Love how easily accessible everything is from Tutors to facilities.
Perfect balance of course hours and at home learning. Tutors are always helpful.
Discount for first year students was really helpful. All the staff are really friendly and helpful
