It’s all brilliant and the tutors are so experienced it definitely shows that we have the right people teaching us who know what they’re talking about. The smaller amount of career prospects is something that comes with the course and is not the fault of the uni, but I do wish there were more opportunities for work experience in first year, as a lot of it is down to the student to go hunting for them and we don’t really get much advice on where to go.

The security are so friendly and always up for a chat, I feel very safe here and whenever there is any kind of maintenance issue it’s always taken care of very quickly. The location is good I just wish it was closer to the centre as the walk to uni is a bit of a killer, but that’s personal preference.

Lectures are always available to help. The classes are full of activities and the tutors make us feel welcomed. What I would fix is having more lectures a week instead of having all of them on Monday and Tuesday

Best: Being taught how the the animation pipeline works in the animation industry. Workshops on different types of animation, such as, stopmotion, 3D and 2D. You can contact the lecturers at anytime by going to the office or emailing them (easy to go talk/find them if you need help). What can be improved: I think more mini animation challenges practicing the 12 could be set like the bouncing ball challenge we did in the first year, so we can get advice on how we could improve our animations.

Best: Everything is provided like comfy bed, basic kitchen supplies and bathroom. It is in a really good location as it is only a 10 to 15 minute walk away from the university and a 2 minute walk to the closest shop. If you ever had a problem like the light won't turn on the maintenance team is easy to contact and the issue is normally fixed on the same day. Worst: The building seemed to have a problem with the plumbing as the drains always had a bad smell. The payments last up until about July even though the course finishes in May....

BEST!!! This course has allowed me to practice and improve my skills outside of lessons. The lecturers are also really helpful. Their ways of viewing things helps me to think about a subject at a different angle. WORST!!! Can't think of anything that's bad👍.

BEST!!! A nice big bed to sleep on! A good kitchen size and cozy atmosphere. WORST!!! Silverfish in the bed (only one though) don't keep the radiators on for too long. I only had them on in the winter after getting back from Uni and for a bit in the morning.

the course hours are great perfect for the week, feel like i get a lot of information out of everything i go to! love how we get provided with cameras and the equipment anytime along with the studios
