Uni has been great, the campus is so pretty and you have access to so much, the only downside was that my BTEC science course (all 3 sciences) in my alevels did not allow me to get into the course without the foundation year, even though it was the same as a B/C in Biology which is something they ask for to come here.
Mediocre facilities, mediocre substance, mediocre teaching. Location is good
it’s easy to find your way around and it’s clean could have more private study rooms
The art school is really really good, and the lecturer's are incredibly helpful. The main university building is not as nice

The kingston hill campus doesn’t have enough student events to make engagement. The campus is very peaceful but the location doesn’t have anything at walking distance.
I think it is accessible for large amounts of students to access the library and be able to study in peace, students and staff approachable but I think they should be more informative in terms of bus times
There are a lot of improvements needed internally: lecturers need more engagement with students as well as there needing to be more organisation. The fact that there are 5 pieces of contradicting information is insane and shows how unprepared some of these lecturers are
Well I think more needs to be done about student support and the lecturers need to have more engagement with their students and check up on them more. Knights park feels empty and depressing at times and could be better suited combined with Penryn road.
Location is great can get to central London in 30 mins But also has a open space feeling Could be better if all the uni buildings were closer instead of a 15 min walk to get to your next lecture or place you want to go
Loads of support from professors/lecturers and overall staff. Resources could be better as students have to buy almost everything such as materials (especially in my case with my art degree, i have to buy most materials such as canvases, paints etc)
Best is how many opportunities you can have in Kingston and the student support and worst is probably the commute
Great uni
I think the best part about studying at kingston school of art is the environment and events led by students and the student union, as well as the facilities and art supplies offered that make it easier to expand a technical skillset under a creative course (though using some of these facilities still require us to pay for things like printing even after weve paid for course). I think a big place for improvement could be how the university handles its accommodation - it is planning on rebuilding one area - middle mill - and expanding the sight with a larger building and car park, which poses a huge risk to the vibrant wildlife in that area and significant disturbance to locals. There is an irony in the fact that despite some of the courses under the uni intend to teach environmental awareness and sustainability, the university itself does not take measures to practice it at times including this.
The facilities are really good. There's lots of machinery and space to bring your ideas to life. Although, I'd say location wise, as someone who lives in central London, it is quite far. And even in Kingston itself, compared to Central, there's not that much to do
I really like the community in Kingston , the tutors are really good however one way they could improve is by being in more most of the time they only come 2 a week and sometimes we need more support from them. Nevertheless I love Kingston art university theres a lot of diversity and you always have the opportunity to meet new people .
So far, my uni experience has been great. I have nothing really to complain about, student life is nice and lively and people are nice and friendly. With regards to classes, their ok with the problem of some lecturers being really bad, but most are lovely and teach well.

One of the best aspects of my experience at Kingston University is the supportive and inclusive learning environment. The teaching staff are approachable and genuinely invested in students’ progress, offering guidance both inside and outside lectures. Many modules are taught in a practical, applied way, which helps connect theory to real-world skills. The university also has good facilities such as modern libraries, laboratories, and study spaces, and the campus locations are well connected, making it easy to balance academic and personal life. As an international student, I particularly appreciate the diverse community, which makes it easy to feel welcomed and supported. However, there are also areas where the university could improve. At times, communication about timetables, assessments, or administrative processes can feel slow or unclear, which can be stressful for students. Some modules could benefit from more contact hours or earlier access to assessment guidance. Additionally, increasing opportunities for placements, internships, and industry engagement across all courses would further enhance employability and practical experience. Overall, Kingston University is a great place to study because of its supportive staff, diverse student community, and focus on practical learning, and with improvements in communication and career-focused opportunities, the student experience could be even better.
Art courses have great resources. Student Union is lacking proper areas, such as its bar not being a great place to use.

It could be improved if we were to have more food options on the campus, and better sports courts such as a football pitch or a basketball court
Online classes feel a lot easier and I cannot concentrate as good as I can in physical classes
