Food and shop options not great, but people are nice
It’s a great place to study because people are nice, you don’t see violent behaviours etc and the staffs are extremely approachable. It could be improved if the libary could be open for longer hours. And if the lecture halls in the delissa block is upgraded aesthetically and for the tables there to be become more sturdy as everyone some moves or gets up from the seat the tables able a lot and the things on the tables can fall down if it wasn’t held well.
my best experience are all of the amenities and workshops that come along with being an arts student. sometimes being a budding artist comes with spending a pretty penny, but the university provide us with a lot of help and complementary subscriptions or access. it is super helpful and important we take advantage of them while they are so easy to access!
the best aspect of the university is the support you’re given and the feedback you get when u complete a test, it is very useful and insightful. The worse aspects of my uni experience is the lectures, simply because i personally enjoy interactive lectures rather than sitting and taking notes however this could be improved with simple powerpoint changes or activities pre planned.
Best is the student support, and worst is the financial support for international students.
It's a nice place to study as the library has a lot of floors and space. The classrooms and lessons are good. Could have easier access to joining sports and clubs, and someone needs to make a chess club.
The university environment is really positive and encouraging. The travel time is too long with no alternative means of attending lectures online
Equipment in labs is very good quality and teachers are very friendly and helpful.
Greta facilities and campus location being right next to a shop and town for easy travel and activities. Overall really nice campus with constant events to help studies get involved .
It's quite ,comfortable ,and well-organised ,with the helpful staff and good resources that make easy to focus.
Could be improved with more diversity in lecturers. i have had lectures on decolonisation and racism by white female lecturers
Best experience so far is the diversity and inclusion in our university, I’ve never felt unsafe in terms of someone making fun of me because of my religion or race and I feel very much welcomed and supported. However, as much as it is a nice university to attend the travel and the expense to travel to university everyday has taken a toll on my mental health, since I’m constantly applying for jobs and not being accepted and so I’m finding it hard to support the travel cost everyday since it takes me almost 2 hours to travel to university 5 times a day and i spend so much on travel even when my lecture is shorter than the travel.
They feel very student forward
The location is great, but some facilities and support is lacking. I go in 2 days a week, which feels like not enough for my final year. The staff and campus are lovely however
I like the resources and vibe. Commute is long tho
A lot of facilities available to students as well as lots of spaces to just relax and hang out. It can be difficult to find the Eadweard Muybridge at first, to improve make it clearer how to get there.
I like the spacious areas. Could be improved be adding more colour in the lecture rooms and classes.. I think there should be something to help people make friends. It is very difficult to make friends for some people.
