Sort:Latest reviewsI can't comment much as I am a mature student, so I have not got involved in the student life at all. It seems there are many student clubs available, though. The facilities are very good, with a decent canteen and a fantastic library. I even spotted prayer rooms, baby changing and breastfeeding rooms for those who need them. Kingston is a really lovely place to live. There is plenty to do (shopping, cafes, restaurants, bars, and a few clubs), but it's also very calm with a truly stunning river location. It's very easy to get into central London, so you have the best of both worlds here.
The location of the campus i’m on is a bit out of the way and can be difficult to get to at times the support given to students is amazing i feel so supported and I know who to speak to when needed the student union is good they make sure there’s involvement for everyone and activities for everyone student life is good your close to the shopping mall and close by to lots of things to do the campus looks clean and tidy and feels nice to spend time here
The lectures in my course are very helpful and always get back to you when you have questions. We have good weeks timetabling where we have online lessons and in person and we start at a nice time as well which gives people time to travel. Our lectures give us PowerPoints which we can also look at when at home for more revision. The university is big and is a couple bus stops from train stations which is helpful as well. There is lots of places to get food and they have a wide variety of things.
The main building in Penrhyn Road looks so unappealing and gives more vibe of office work rather than university

The professors are the best part along with the student union and the facilities No “worst aspects” come to mind overall so far I am enjoying the uni life
I think they should have more events. The community and teachers make it a great place to study
The university is inclusive and tries to offer support to everyone which is nice.
The facilities aren't great. Software is always crashing and lectures aren't recorded. There's a lot of reliance on AI. The location is great and easy to get to
I feel like it is hard to save money because of the prices of canteen and the prices of materials. I feel like the best aspect is the the workshops are available for everyone and has a lot of technology that can help you make unique things.
The best one is, our uni is so good for everything, all staff are kind and their behavior are amazing
it’s very versatile and inclusive and has many extracurricular activities and clubs. it also has 5 floor library building which is great to study in and the atmosphere in general is amazing
The best is being able to meet people there and how easily it is to talk to anyone. The worst is that very little work is taught in teaching block 1, then a lot of hard work is crammed into teaching block 2
I think the course is quite fresh and fun. There are alot of practical things we learn that are so much more helpful in the real world. Even basic things like corporate etiquettes and networking are taught so that we are able to connect with people. As for the academics…its a bit research heavy though you can get very creative with it (to make it fun) our professors love storytelling and personal instances in the reports.
Main library open until 1am which is great however the engineering campus is often neglected when it comes to events and opening hours with the library only open until 5 and not at all on weekends
So far i am really enjoying it , i transferred here for my second year (i did my first year in a different uni and had a really bad experience) . Doing fine art, its been really nice to have my own available studio space to work, available staff to speak to and aid with my work and just have a general look and chat about ideas and inspiration. Theres a pretty nice studio culture as well and all the tutors and technical staff are very supportive and knowledgeable.
At my point of view there's no worst aspects. The university provides every support for the students especially international students. As an international student i get all the support i want. Also the atmosphere of the university makes everything even better

I feel that there are a lot of resources for us at the roehampton vale campus for us to do our more complex computer work, but at the other campuses there are few computers and things we can use, but they do cause quite a few problems when doing our more complicated stuff.
learning the wide range of content that is taught can be quite enjoyable, but it can be hard to follow, especially with lecturers who aren’t always clear or concise with how they convey what is being taught.
It was a great experience living there and onsite there was a lot of aid if needed and a bus service that comes not too frequently but mainly the location is a bit far from shopping and activities.
