Kingston Uni is a brilliant balance of living in London without living in a hectic, loud area. The facilities in KSA are great, and the booking systems are easy to understand. However, I sometimes wish there were more personal storage areas for me to leave my work in at Uni without fears of it being moved or broken.

One of the best things about my university is its location. It is in a really convenient and nice area, with good transport links and easy access to shops, restaurants and other facilities. This makes student life much easier and more enjoyable. One disadvantage is that sometimes it can be difficult to find quiet spaces to study, especially during busy periods.
The campus I’m at is a bit out of the way- not close to the other campuses
As a commuter travel is my only disadvantage
The best aspect was the ease of making my way around and the library.

The facilities available for fine arts are fantastic, from the studio spaces to the workshops. There is a lot of technical supports from technicians within the workshops, and the course staff and tutors are very supportive and knowledgeable. I transferred here from a higher ranking uni, and am so glad I made that decision. The quality of teaching has been incomparable, my work and also university experience has improved massively since coming here.
The careers centre is very helpful for preparing you for interviews and reviewing your cv
Kingston University's Computer Science course has been a strong start to my degree. The first year gave me solid foundations across HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Java, with lecturers who explain concepts clearly and are approachable when you need extra help. The course balances theory with genuinely practical coursework, which made it easier to actually retain what I learned. Campus facilities and resources have been reliable, and being just a short walk from most teaching buildings makes day-to-day university life convenient. Beyond academics, there are plenty of societies and extracurriculars to get involved in. Overall, a well-rounded and supportive environment for CS students.
The environment and the student body makes it a good place to study. But there can be improvements in the events that take place there. There should be more events for students.
Kingston according to me is a multicultural community, with top tier facilities and teaching along with the best environment/location. Every student here or staff I went to and talked are so helpful and sweet, they try to understand you and help a way out , I honestly feel like I have a second home here among ppl at Kingston. The only thing that bothered me or I'll say I suffered was the cost of living but in general the universities accommodation rent . I really struggled with that , but yeah I think its a great spot for international students to come, join the community and learn something new everyday
I feel that there are a lot of resources for us at the roehampton vale campus for us to do our more complex computer work, but at the other campuses there are few computers and things we can use, but they do cause quite a few problems when doing our more complicated stuff.
I can't comment much as I am a mature student, so I have not got involved in the student life at all. It seems there are many student clubs available, though. The facilities are very good, with a decent canteen and a fantastic library. I even spotted prayer rooms, baby changing and breastfeeding rooms for those who need them. Kingston is a really lovely place to live. There is plenty to do (shopping, cafes, restaurants, bars, and a few clubs), but it's also very calm with a truly stunning river location. It's very easy to get into central London, so you have the best of both worlds here.
The location of the campus i’m on is a bit out of the way and can be difficult to get to at times the support given to students is amazing i feel so supported and I know who to speak to when needed the student union is good they make sure there’s involvement for everyone and activities for everyone student life is good your close to the shopping mall and close by to lots of things to do the campus looks clean and tidy and feels nice to spend time here

Good facilities but the timetabling is hit and miss and changes each week which makes it hard to plan ahead.
each module has a lecture and workshop. the set up is good but not every module has enough staff in each workshop to properly support if you need extra help
