I was lucky and got accommodation in the city centre, since I was only there for one semester living close to the university and the city was really good. And this made it possible for me to get the most out of my stay in Sheffield. So if you are thinking of studying here I would recommend to try to find …
Sheffield is such a save and nice city, with friendly people from different countries. It's nightlife is awesome as the majority of the city is populated by students, great socials, easy to find a place to stay for a fair price, great culture and lots of opportunities to work and volunteer while you are …
I personally love my time at the university of Sheffield! The tutors are very nice and always available for feedback and advice. They also are very involved. The regularly check up on their students and ask them how the integration into the city is going. The student facilities are the best I personally had. …
My rent was fairly high because there were unexpected costs that came with it, also the everyday life (and the pound in general) are higher than what I am used to back home (euro).
The university has huge "campus" and 24h library. I was in the architecture department and the study was intensive, lots of lectures and homeworks but it is good to be pushed. The studios were really different and the way they organized were very public and it is conveniente to learn from others.
I would absolutely recommend this university because there is a plethora of brilliant opportunities available for every field of study. This university has helped me create networks with many different people that will be beneficial to me in the future.

I guess I expected the SSoA to be similar to my home university, but they are really taking their 'social production of architecture' to the next level. Incredible masters programme (M.Arch.) that emphesize beautiful drawings and a strong social committment. Definitely different from my home uni and an …
I wanted to experience living in a different culture and also improve my language skills. I've always wanted to travel and gain better understanding of different ways of living, going abroad to study was then very good opportunity to do this.
Anyways, I thought Sheffield was a great choice, because it is not a megapolis, has a national park around for hiking and it is a very nice city to live in as a student. It felt like my second home and …
Knowledge of English language was more than sufficient for functioning at the university. The setting was pretty international (50% of the students in the chosen modules were from abroad), and it seemed that the Dutch were the better English speaking of the group. British culture appeared to be not that …
Great way of meeting other people, see a different culture, expanding your horizon and subject area. Learning the language better, improving your CV with a foreign university. The university of Sheffield has a lot of accommodation for international students, so that you do not have to worry about that.
The staff are very devoted to their work of helping students get along with application for studies, starting and continuation of the same.
The veterinaries working with us was very good teachers, helping by motivating us and letting us try new things under their surveillance. The clinics at the school was almost brand new, with great facilities.
I would recommend to anybody SHeffield. It's a students' city, there are good universities, it's not expensive to live there, you are in the middle of England so you can have wonderful trips. But it's not important where you live abroad, it's relevant the people who live with you! Anywhere could be a good …
I would recommend this university because the teachers are not afraid to challenge the students. We have grown so accustomed to teachers simply giving us information to memorize for a test that we forget that we have minds as well, and at Manchester M University teachers give you the gift of information …
Sheffield is a town for students, everything seems to revolve around making your stay as pleasant as possible. Student union at Sheffield is very active, organising events throughout the week and giving a chance to participate in activities you never thought you might participate in (i.e. fencing etc). The …
Cost of living (rent, expenses and food) its average for any west european country, since it's not in the capital. It's easy to find a nice cheap room (150 euros). University of Granada is one of the very few universities in Spain that has a very good and cheap cafeteria, so it costs little money to eat …
I lived in university accommodation, which was perhaps a bit costly but definitely worth every pound. The Sheffield Students' Union is absolutely fantastic, and if I were to repeat my stay, I would participate in more of their events, especially the trips to British cities and towns.

I haven´t actually started my Masters program. If one is interested in a business related subject and want to excel in it, I feel that Manchester MU is one of the best places to enroll in such an education. The business capital of the world can prepare you for your …
