Brilliant rural location, out the way and quiet life. Plenty of places to go off an relax after a stressful day at uni. Local community is brilliant with plenty to offer in the nearby town of Newport. The student union listen to the needs and wants from fellow students and have an impact on the way the university acts and reacts. Overall a positive experience and a wide range of students, we're not all farmers ;)
The course content is a little outdated without talking about many future impacts but I'm aware they are trying to change this. Great mixture of online and in person lectures so you get the best of both worlds while still getting face to face time to use the facilities and have some hands on learning. Course structure to encourage mixing with others in your class and not just friends while replicating real life scenarios so you fell fully prepared for going out into the working world with not just the knowledge but practical skills to go along side. Lecturers know every student by face and name so you're not just a number to them. All offices are open door so when struggling it's easy to go ask for extra support where required.

There are several buildings open for studying 24/7. The campus is located in the countryside and has man good areas to walk and relax. Not only that but they have many areas outside around campus where you can study and its a very small community.
My course has many good lecturers and lots of support within it. However, the first year has many modules that feel less important and more of a pain to do.

Beautiful location and has very modern facilities. Some on campus events can be quite expensive.
Brand new veterinary nursing facility opened offering excellent resources and realistic spaces mimicking a veterinary practice. Good blend of tutorials and lectures. Good classroom sizes enabling 1 to 1 teaching
Thank you for your feedback
It has a working farm which helps to cement the knowledge we are learning in lectures into a physical situation. It also has companion animals on site which help with lectures. It is not as culturally diverse as it could be.
The lectures are always happy to help and smaller class sizes mean you are known as an individual. The course is very structured with not many choices for option modules
The kitchen was small and didn’t have much room for socialisation.

The family feel and whatever support you need across campus from course-related stuff to mental health ect
Due to being in my master's year, we are allocated our own office making the relationship between students and lecturers much more fluid. The worst part could potentially be the lack of use of the facilities in higher years as what we are learning about we do not have
Love the rural aspect and the local town which puts on nights specific to students
Cleaners most days and direct access to estates if any issues occur
Thank you for your feedback
I love the rural setting which gives you the feeling of being in the rolling countryside but with town convenience close enough. The SU falls short in only really showing interest in Sports societies and little support is shown to smaller societies such as music, which is a shame. If funding was spread more evenly this would be better.
I came to Harper as they offered a placement year and it did not disappoint. I loved my placement ad it gave me an excellent feel for where I wanted to go with my career
Random allocations sometimes work but sometimes don't.

Such a good location and student nightlife and lifestyle Course could be more individual to the subject there are too many modules that are shared with other courses that aren’t relevant and our time could be better focused on more relevant topics to our careers
Modules need to all be relevant to the course there is too much time spent on things which aren’t relevant Good contact practically especially with dogs Most lecturers are physios / vets which is great Equine facilities aren’t as good
Good time
Thank you for your feedback
the campus culture could be better, some very outdated attidutes are accepted
not a lot of entomology specific facilities, not many trips. lecturers are really good though
very small town so makes sense that there's not a lot going on. nice cheap rent though
jerman are the nicest halls in my opinion. still pricey though
