Have thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere through the whole course Only downside is price of socials/societies as in minimum loan so cannot afford to join all that I would like to
The lecturers are all very knowledgeable and the level of teaching is high. General student life is good if you like to party hard, id say still pretty good if youre more chill but I cant say much about that

Halls is one of the best things about our University. My favourite thing is that if there is any issues, maintenance will get it sorted ASAP and if they can't fix the problem, then they will replace it. One of the issues I'd say is student life. Many societies and clubs can be expensive, especially the memberships. And if you can't afford it, you basically can't do it/attend it. Not everyone gets the student life that is talked about on social media. One positive but also a negative is the location. Harper allows students to park their cars for free through a simple online registration form. Cars makes it easy to get to places like food shopping. However, location wise isn't overly great for jobs going forward. Because newport is so little, makes jobs for students small too. Most people have to branch out further.
Really kind and helpful lectures. Lovely campus to walk/run around to help relieve stress. In fourth year there is a lot less contact time with the lectures and a lot of independent work alongside heavy modules, exams and OSCEs which is hard.
I love how everyone knows each other because it's such a lovely little community and there are so many different clubs and societies that you can choose from. There is also a community fridge that we have which helps to reduce food waste and it is great for students to go to to get some free food. I would say that the things to be improved could be the mental health support as my friend wanted to have counselling here at harper but they told her that it would be a 3 week wait which is a long time for someone struggling but overall it is such a lovely uni
Harper is a great university for those who love the countryside. Very pretty campus and a great choice of courses to study. Even though its in the countryside there is still nightlife on campus and in Newport itself. A wide variety of sports and societies to join, however the socials can be intense and not for everyone. Overall its a really nice and quiet university to study at!!
The campus is lovely and not overwhelming due to it not being as big as others, this makes it easy on your first day as lectures aren’t too hard to find. The library is open 24/7 for us early birds and night owls. It has an on site working farm which is great to get hands on experience. I would improve the university by making our entry fee to our little club nights on campus free or at a reduced price and only charging us for drinks and food at the bar
Harper Adams is a really supportive university in terms of inclusion and disability aid as well as having excellent teaching and facilities
The best aspects of the uni experience is the teaching and everyone being on campus. I like that it is a small university and it has a good community atmosphere. The worst aspects of the university is the parking. There isn't enough for everyone and sometimes it's hard to get a space. I do like that it is free though.
There's a focus on agriculture and it feels other courses get neglected
Harper has a range of facilities available for students. The Student life makes the uni so enjoyable with a great work hard play attitude. The SU is supportive of student ideas and helps to enable them.
18-24 years
The facilities are good and some of the clubs and societies are really lovely. Some of the newer societies don't get as much support financially or starting up and some of the lectures dont support the students as much as they could. But overall its good.
Harpers a brill place to study, the campus is beautiful and the facilities are good. Only issue I have is the student night life, problem being it's none existent apart from one local club and the SU on a wednesday. Its great fun but the location in regards to clubbing/paryting its not great.
Lovely campus so rural and pretty with lots of beneficial facilities to gain a range of practical experience.

The university staff are very welcoming for every student studying at Harper Adams. The university is a great university to study as the facilities are brilliant and easy to access at anytime of the day. The students union work very hard all year round to please the students as that time to relax and switch off from university studies is just as important for many reasons (mental health etc). Overall harper Adams is a brilliant place to study and I recommend anyone to harper Adams as their university of choice.
Tutors are kind and helpful, you can always book appointments for help. On campus facilities are fine, even if washing machine charges feel a little pricey. Campus is located in a nice rural area. But it's a shame that the LGBT society doesn't exist (?) any more.
