We have a beautiful, modest campus equipped with a fantastic library, refectory, coffee shop and Students Union bar. The buildings vary, some are ultra modern with all the touch screens you would expect in such a facility, and some are the most curious and quirky mazes which feel traditional. The teaching staff are exemplary - on this course (English Language with Teaching), we have such small class sizes (7-11) that we're almost getting one-on-one tuition; the tutors certainly give us as much attention and support as you could hope to want. I live off campus, so haven't partaken in much of the 'student life', however I felt incredibly special to be part of the Matriculation ceremony in Lincoln Cathedral, and have attended a number of events put on my the Chaplaincy (religion not required!), I've attended guest lectures and been offered the opportunity to take part in global seminars and discussions. We perhaps don't have so many societies as other Universities, which is the only slightly negative aspect, but Uni is what you make of it - and there is plenty for me to be involved with. I am a mature student, and I see a few others around the campus on occasion. However neither the tutors or my fellow students have been anything less than welcoming. I'm really pleased I chose to attend Lincoln Bishop University.
The student support is excellent and very easy to reach with amazing advice. However in last two years I have noticed a decline in teacher support/ class organisation and sometimes attendance as well as costs on campus increasing.
Lincoln Bishop offers so much support for students which I think is really helpful. From writing assignments to financial or mental health support, there is always someone you can go to. I think this uni could be improved by lowering the prices of food and drink at Curiositea and The Refectory
Really great close campus with lots of facilities
It has lovely viewpoints.
This university allows for some great opportunities and learning, with a great addition of various placements that help you transform knowledge into application. Through this you work with great school and university mentors to set targets for you to progress in your career. However, there is a lack of persona support and understanding. With some, not all, lectures often lacking in communication. In my experience, I have been ignored via emails, and questions in person being left unanswered too. Lessons can also be repetitive and boring, with many students saying they’d prefer a learning at home approach.
It has a very open and natural campus with great links to the main city centre. The staff are lovely and there are many opportunities for help both for assignments and for life on campus.

As a international student this university provides every facilities to make us easier while studying. Also, we are getting support from advisors, student union and hub as well.
It's a small university so it has a nice feeling as it's not big and overwhelming to attend. The small campus means you get to know lecturers really well and make friends with those on your course. However, due to it being so small the uni night life in the student's union isn't as lively as other universities would be.
As an international student I would really like more funding options.
There is a real family feel with every student getting individualised attention, lecturers are very approachable and Student Union has our backs. The university itself tends to prioritise external relationships rather than its own students and will often let out facilities from under its own societies to external groups with very short notice regardless of previous booking from societies, and the societies themselves are very few in number, there is very little variety on offer. Consequently, I feel that Lincoln Bishop University does not actually have its students backs, which is why I am very grateful for the Student Union which does have our backs.

Feels more like a home that a school. Can easily develop strong relationships with tutors and classmates due to small(er) class sizes.
Some tutors over or underestimate problems caused by physical issues.
Not too many people in each section, so dont run into each other too often. Just a comfortable amount.
