Meeting people off my course Probably only 2 placements for the year and have a couple of months learning about the course.
Excellent support in advice, mental health, financial support, career guidance and follow ups.
The student union and staff members are excellent, including access to societies. Further facilities would be great such as a club.
No bad aspects. Supervision by real experts in the field. Can’t complain in any way. It’s the kind of experience every student should have. Really tailored to my needs and lots of additional opportunities to publish, present and write. I’ve had a great 4 years here.
The small uni is very supportive gets to know staff and other students on the course. Sports opportunities and facilities offer a greater variety of sports for girls, currently netball the main one.
As I commute to uni, there's little I can comment on for student life and the students' union. The campus is a nice size and has a fairly modern feel to it; however, in some buildings, the room numbers have no correlation, which can make it hard to get around and figure out what building the room is even in.
The support I have recieved whilst studying at BGU has been second to none. They have been so unbelievably helpful in offering advice on student finance and supporting me in a personal matter.
Bishop Grosseteste University is the most supportive, kind, communal University in England. Any concern or worry is never shouldered alone. When struggling with essays, there is always support, as well as mentally.
Excellent support from my supervisors and from the wider staff involved with doctoral students including admin staff. Excellent support from the librarians. I don't live on campus but am kept informed of events happening and about what the students' union has to offer.
