As an adult learner the student life doesn't mean anything to me. Lincoln Bishop is a great university and an easy location especially for me who travels in which takes me around an hour and half.
The best parts about LBU are the staff, the support and the accessibility. Someone is always happy to help, no matter the time or day. The on campus security are incredible and have not only helped me feel safe, but given me someone to talk to late at night. Learning Support are, to me, the highlight of LBU alongside the Student Support. The main improvement that I would highlight is the lack of student choice for societies, however, you can always set one up yourself if there isn't something that interests you! Student life and Lincoln city itself however really make up for it, there is always somewhere new to go and most people are super friendly.
The university is perfect and small, they also has everything you need. From lots of support to one-to-one help for disabilities and when you’re feeling stressed. The university has many different study spots with multiple of them having food and drink accessible. I wouldn’t have chosen a different uni
Lectures are always available for tutorial sessions but sometimes it can be a bit of an issue when lectures come to your seminar a bit late and classmates are causing you issues when completing the course. Some facilities seem ready for refurbishment now as some tables may seem broken in a few rooms
Lecturers are amazing, as it is a small uni they are able to communicate easily on a personal level with each student. The access to the city centre
The staff are all friendly and all jump to help and support when something is wrong. Theyre also very relaxed and make lessons fun. Accommodation is beautiful and everything looks amazing. The location is also something I love as I can walk 10 minutes down and get an amazing view. Student union are also amazing and always looking for things to improve on and make sure uni life is good for students.
The university does really put the students first, they have a great system for support. Everyone is really friendly. I would like to see improvements to the Student Union, more events, more societies and clubs and a more present President/Vice President.

The best would be making new friends having a sense of independence And the worst would be my financial situation
I like that it’s a small and personal campus
The uni being small means it feels intimate and you feel seen and appreciated, whereas I know people in larger unis don’t feel this way. The student union is positive and welcoming, and it is very easy to get hold of lecturers and the student union, and it always feel safe and comfortable on campus
Support is great from the student services. Campus feels safe. Everything is on-site that I need for my classes.
Deadlines can be a bit tight around each other meaning multiple assiments need to be done with in 2 to 3 days of each other. There’s just no need
Social events Societies Trips
It has amazing support and I love my accomodation, however the student union flops after freshers week
The best bits are that it’s a small campus and I love the small class sizes, which has made it easy to get to know other students and lecturers. The library and gym are great facilities too. I also love the amount of green space on campus. Something that could be improved is more mental health and wellbeing sessions/activities being offered on campus, for example therapy dogs or yoga
The support from staff and the Union is fantastic. A friendly and welcoming environment.

Add alternative searing in areas for work such as bean bags and floor pillows, making it a more comfortable environment and less formal feel. More advertising about events that go on throughout the uni, signs or boards in different building or outside the venue/su for people to read.
sometimes feels the lecturers just read off of the slides, making it feel like we could just copy the notes at home.
Maybe adding a zebra crossing or lights on the roundabout between uni and the student village so that during busy periods it's easier and safer to cross over the roads.
