Overall great :) just had some trouble at the beginning locating some services

We haven’t gone on placement just yet, we still don’t know who we we paired with or where we are going yet Our course is mainly taught in university and the hours are good some weeks are longer than others, contact with lecturers are always positive

The halls are really secure and always lovely and warm An improvement would be the wifi it’s always disconnecting and the money for the halls is good it would be more worth the money if we got given a toaster and things

Lecturers are supportive and ready to answer as soon as possible to any inquiry. Course content is balanced and interesting. Might be useful to have clear rules about assignment writing between the lecturers and the students support service.

Beautiful rooms and nice common spaces, very effective maintenance service. Could use more laundry machines in the laundry room.

M y course has been extremely engaging and informative. Throughout this time University has given me lots of opportunities to succeed.

Overall the halls were good however unfortunately I did not have a great experience with the other students in the flat.

Lecturers are brilliant. Super friendly and helpful. The fact that BGU sorts placement out for us is really useful. It means there is one less thing to stress about

WiFi can be slow sometimes- especially at night but it is dealable Only three washer dryers for 120 students Plenty lot of storage space and the rooms are really nice

The course is really interesting and provides us with important information as well as giving us the chance to experience and learn on the job. However, the lectures are fairly long for how much content is actually given and I think these could be shortened or even done online (especially half days); sometimes the lectures also consist of lecturers just reading of PowerPoints and not actually teaching which ends up with more time in revision for something that should have already been taught.

Many contact hours meaning a well supported course.

The lecturers are always available, happy to help with anything and offer such amazing support. Some of the lectures can be quite dull and boring when being spoken at for hours on end but they provide ample breaks and there's enough time to discuss what you're being taught.

The rooms are really nice, private on suite and decently priced. However amenities don't combat the increase of rent with the increase of cost of living. The security are kind of unhelpful, more scary than anything else. Maintenance are quick to come out an fix minor complaints but larger things may take them longer to get to. We had a broken hob for a month that was a fire hazard till they came to change it.

We have high contact hours and frequent communication with course lectures. I always feel supported and know where to access online materials, as it is organised well! We also have online sessions throughout the course, where we will be given tasks to complete throughout the day! I’m currently on my 2nd year of placement for 7 weeks and we do not attend uni lectures during this! This makes it so much easier to focus on our placement.

My experience during my 1st year in halls was good! They matched us with some people on the same course, so I had some familiar faces on my first day. To improve, I would have liked some more social areas rather than only the kitchen. This could have helped with branching off and meeting new people.
