The best aspect of the university is the support you receive during the course, all the lectures are friendly and always happy to help. An aspect the university could improve on is giving more details on placement.

PGCE Secondary (MFL French, German, Spanish)

There’s a lot of student support generally speaking, you feel welcomed and sustained in your journey. There’s generally lot of effort to meet students needs and wishes and to provide a high quality educational experience. The location makes it hard to provide nearby placement schools, it might help to provide a clearer and more supportive plan for the students who are asked to travel longer distances.

SU is a fantastic support network. They take your feelings into consideration while also being pragmatic. Library supplies are awesome - only downside is the library closes at 10 pm.

The location is in a nicer, less busy area of the city, and the resources offered are good for the course I am studying, however some facilities don’t feel up to date and for commuters. Overall its a good university.

Primary Education with QTS BA (Hons)

The campus is really nice and homey There's lots of facilities on campus and the lecturers are just amazing people, always happy to help us. Having more diverse classrooms at the uni, especially for my course would help prepare for placement. The student union, although a fun place to hang out, doesn't offer much in social life.

BA Primary Education with QTS

University rating (5)

I love how the university feels like a community! I’ve always felt comfortable with uni staff and my course lecturers, knowing I can always speak to someone. I really feel like I have grown as a person whilst being apart of BGU :) I would like a little more SU involvement throughout the academic year.
