The dorms at staffs were great when moving out; I had heard many horror stories about uni accommodation with mould and rats in the kitchens but the facilities have been clean and staff very responsive and helpful. The 24/7 computer labs have been fantastic for keeping on top of work as well, making my time at uni much less stressful as I have uninterrupted access to a well equipped working environment with everything I could need to success on my course. If I had to fault staffs the distance from Hanley would have to be it, although most necessities are taken care of by the union shop so this is more of an annoyance that critical flaw.

Lectures are available on Teams and can be reached at any time, in my experience they have fantastic response times. The university has transitioned (for my course at least) to all in person lectures and lessons.

As I mentioned before I was thrilled with how my halls were, the facilities were lovely and clean when I arrived and a sink and hot water machine in my room was a nice addition. If I had to criticize anything the price compared to student accommodation in the surrounding area was a little steep.

It's a good place to study there are a lot of open labs so you can self study and relax

It's amazing to study it feels great since all the teachers are friendly have their own ways of but at times it can also be very hard to keep up in lectures if you get confused on one part of the lecture especially for code along lessons
